: No, I am not a broker. When the Browns relocated to Baltimore, my family, brothers, brother in laws, cousins, sister, nieces etc purchased over 50 PSLs in various sections of the stadium. Each person bought the PSLs that they could afford.
Rather than each one try to sell their extra tickets individually, I handle the sale of them.
We sell our tickets at market value (above face, below broker prices) basically because of the fact that we have together paid out in excess of $100,000 total on the PSLs. We have made an investment, and we are covering our costs for tying up our money in PSLs.
The first year that we started selling our tickets, we found many of them be resold by brokers. Why should they profit off of our tickets? It makes no sense to us to support their businesses. Don't get me wrong, ticket brokers provide a much needed service. Whenever we go to concerts, etc, we always buy through ticket brokers.
We sell our tickets over face value, but less than what brokers charge for COMPARABLE seats.
: : For the 2001 season, I am again selling my family's extra tickets to all home games. The majority of our seats are located in the lower level between the 5 & 50 yard lines. We also have some tickets available in the upper deck, and lower and upper end zone areas. Please call (410) 869-3541 for more information. We can ship the tickets anywhere in the US for a nominal amount.
: Damn that covers most of the stadium! Sounds like a broker to me.
