Due to the Memorial Day holiday, there will be no summary of "Port Charles" on Monday, May 31. As Eve weeps on Kevin's shoulder, Lucy sheepishly admits that her information about the baby came from Chris. Though Lucy tries to apologize for dredging up such a painful subject, Kevin angrily orders her and Scott to leave the lighthouse at once. Courtney and Frank plot their next move in anticipation of the fallout from Chris "betrayal" of his best friend. After Scott and Lucy depart, Eve sadly explains to Kevin how her child's death nearly destroyed her. Disclosing how she fled from D.V. the minute she learned she was pregnant, Eve describes how she stayed on the run until she went into labor, only to have the infant die of malnutrition a few hours after his birth.

Chris is shaken to learn that Lance Pharmaceuticals has indeed filed a lawsuit against him. Forging ahead with his new novel about a missing child, Kevin thanks Eve for inspiring him to start writing again following the tragic fiasco surrounding his first book. Though Scott cautions her not to jump to any conclusions, Lucy remains certain that Eve bore David Bordisso a baby and has been trying to hush it up ever since. Worried that Lance will put a lien against his condo and garnish his wages, Chris appeals to the hospital counsel for help but Lee coldly informs him that GH intends to cooperate fully with the pharmaceutical firm. Kevin and Eve exchange notes and realize they're both okay with the fact that their old flames are engaged to be married.

When Julie reminds him that her due date is just one week away, Chris demands that she turn over all the proceeds from the DL-56 patent before he'll agree to sneak her baby out of Ferncliff. Kevin and Eve enjoy the sudden quiet which has descended upon the lighthouse in the wake of Victor's departure. Frank teases Courtney about her unexpected dip in the fountain at Mary's wedding. Furious at being humiliated in front of so many potential clients, Courtney begins plotting her revenge against Karen. Chris promises a grateful Eve he's deleted all record of her having a child from the hospital's files. Meanwhile, Courtney slyly drops a hot piece of gossip into Lucy's inquiring mind. Scott arranges a surprise anniversary party for his parents at the Port Charles Grill.

As the wedding march finally begins, Frank escorts his radiant mother down the aisle to stand beside her waiting groom. Choking back tears of joy, victor reads the vows he's written and Mary responds with an emotional declaration of her own. After exchanging rings and a kiss, the beaming couple are pronounced husband and wife as their friends and family members applaud the happy union. During the reception, Scott and Lucy discuss their own impending nuptials while Karen is taken aback to realize that Neil still believes she's going to marry his father. After Gail mentions how much she's looking forward to celebrating her twentieth anniversary with Lee, Audrey quietly suggests to Scott that they plan something special for his folks.

Declaring his love, Scott asks Lucy to spend the rest of her life with him by becoming his wife. Choking back tears of joy, Lucy says "yes" amidst a chorus of cheers from Karen and Serena. Courtney puts the finishing touches on the outdoor wedding, then coyly asks Joe to help her practice walking down the aisle. Meanwhile, Kevin reports to Eve that he still hasn't located his missing father. As they arrive at the old churchyard, Lucy proudly shows off her new engagement ring to Ellen and Matt. Oblivious to the fact that her bridegroom has gone AWOL, a beaming Mary accepts a special gift from Lark as she finishes dressing for the ceremony. Victor lands in jail after a misguided attempt to reclaim the pin which belonged to Mary's mother.

Victor promises Mary a day full of wonderful surprises as their wedding morning finally dawns. Meanwhile, a frazzled Courtney scrambles to finish preparations for the ceremony following the last minute change in venue. Certain Scott is simply teasing her, Lucy laughs off his comments about them walking down the aisle someday soon. Later, Scott hides a ring inside a rose and waits for Lucy to discover her prize. Julie calls Chris again and describes her plan to frame an orderly by planting drugs to make it look like their unfortunate victim was the one who gave her the scissors. Courtney shudders at the thought of being married to Frank, who indulges in the same fantasy and is just as alarmed by the results.

Ellen admits to Matt she's a bit nervous about going out on their first official date since they reconciled. Julie phones Chris from Ferncliff to remind him that she still expects him to honor their agreement. A gloomy Mary informs Victor that the priest took offense at some of her fiancee's theological remarks and has now refused to marry them in his church. Casting around for a new location for the ceremony, Kevin suggests to his father that they hold the wedding outside under God's bright blue sky. Declaring their love for one another, Matt and Ellen vow to learn from the mistakes they both made during their first time around. Kevin and Eve stumble over some old surveillance photos and a coded message in one of Victor's books.

With his nuptials just around the corner, Victor searches for the right words with which to honor his bride on their special day. Courtney brags to Frank about the potent new ammunition she's uncovered in their war against Chris. At GH, Karen explains to Eve why she's had second thoughts about acting as bridesmaid for Mary's wedding. After hearing her story, Eve advises Karen to speak to Mary before she makes any decisions about bailing out of the ceremony. Kevin wonders if his father's inability to settle on the right vows means Victor has something else occupying his mind. As Courtney continues to make herself indispensable as bridal consultant, Mary tells Karen she feels it would be best if the doctor wasn't a member of the wedding party after all.

Mary happily welcomes Victor home. As he prepares to discharge Eve, Chris hesitantly asks his startled friend how long ago she had her baby. Before Eve can respond, however, Kevin arrives with a full report on the successful rescue mission in New York. Lucy and Scott spend a blissful morning in bed upon their return to Port Charles. Afterwards, when Scott asks why Bordisso kept photos of Meg in his apartment and his vacation home, Lucy replies that D.V. was in love with the attorney's mother at one time but elects to keep mum about the depth of her own involvement with him. Mary is astounded to learn that her son was arrested for soliciting a prostitute. Realizing Courtney has already let the cat half out of the bag, Karen reluctantly informs Mary that she and Joe have broken their engagement.

Courtney warns her co-conspirator that Joe found a book of matches from the Classic Cat, but Frank is forced to abruptly hang up before they can get their stories straight. Scanning the list of Bordisso's extensive holdings, Scott and Victor agree to tap the man's phone lines in an effort to determine which piece of real estate he's holed up on. After spending the night in bed together, D.V. tells Lucy he's planned a special brunch. Courtney swears to Joe she's never set foot in the Classic Cat or any other strip joint. Though Courtney advises him to give Karen some space, Joe decides to march back to his fiancee's apartment and make another attempt to convince her that he's being framed. D.V. brings Lucy to a casino where all the employees and regular customers seem to instantly recognize " Evie".

Frank reports to a delighted Courtney that Joe has packed his bags and left Karen's place. In Manhattan, Scott and Victor continue searching for the man who left Meg at the altar. Finally locating Noel Clinton at the Nighthawk bar, Scott asks him what connection Bordisso might have to Meg. At the cabin, Lucy starts to remember a few small details about her favorite things and is puzzled to recall a fondness for a certain duck. As Joe returns to the Scanlon house, Courtney feigns surprise upon hearing that he and his fiancee have quarreled. Meanwhile, Frank finds Karen crying in her apartment and offers her his sympathy. D.V. reassures "Evie" that in time she'll remember just how much they've meant to one another for so many years.

Frank assures a grinning Courtney that his brother is about to meet a "professional" woman who will knock Joe's socks off. Meanwhile, at the hospital, Karen gets kittenish with her boyfriend but reluctantly tears herself away when Joe admits that he~s late for a meeting with Frank. As Mary's bridal shower begins, Courtney eagerly scores big points with the guest of honor while simultaneously managing to make Karen look like dirt in the eyes of her future mother-in-law. Ellen confides to Eve how torn she feels by her feelings by both Matt and Sebastian. Mary commends Lark for winning a scholarship to Pierce College. As per Frank's instructions, Janelle "accidentally" bumps into Joe while his brother places a surreptitious call to the police.

Sifting through Bordisso's apartment, victor and Scotty uncover D.V.'s personal files. Meanwhile, as they head towards the cabin on Lake Raines, D.V. slyly undermines Lucy's efforts to remember details of the life she enjoyed before amnesia set in. Kevin brings Eve back to the lighthouse to begin her recuperation in grand style. Poring over Bordisso's records on himself and Lucy, Scott wonders what evil intentions D.V. has in store for his virtual prisoner. Lucy remains uneasy about getting too close to her host but her resistance weakens when he charms her with stories about the romantic history they've supposedly shared. Victor scolds Scott after learning that his co-conspirator removed the photo of his mother from D.V.'s apartment.
