Will begins doing odd jobs to earn money for himself and Jessica during their adventure on the road. Worried that Max's health has already begun to deteriorate, Blair begs him to get to a doctor before it's too late. Roseanne spends the night in Cristian's apartment following a torrid encounter between the two "friends". Bo questions Dorian again in hopes of learning something new which would present mitigating circumstances in the case against Lindsay. Although unwilling to provide her friend with an alibi, Dorian assures the police commissioner she's certain Lindsay was not responsible for the accident which caused the death of Jessica's baby. Asa reminds an exasperated Renee why Blair is not a suitable mate for any Buchanan male.

Tea defiantly reminds John that he no longer has any say in where she goes and with whom she spends her time. Depressed to thin that Bo believes she's guilty, Lindsay has a change of heart and informs a startled Sam she's ready to cop a plea after all. Cristian bitterly complains to Roseanne about how miserable his life has become since Jessica left. John warns R.J. to keep his distance from Tea. Will and Jessica are touched to witness a tender moment between an elderly couple celebrating fifty years of wedded bliss. R.J. counters John's threats with a few of his own, then pays for his taunts when the police officer hauls off and punches him in the jaw. Unable to dissuade Lindsay, Sam reluctantly accepts Hank's plea bargain for a charge of vehicular homicide carrying a six month jail term.

Rae tells John she'd like to file a missing persons report on her husband. Meanwhile, Kevin advises an uneasy Grace not to let Rae's harsh words rattle her. Roseanne eavesdrops as Tea glumly informs R.J. that she and John are through. Rae explains to John why she wants to divorce Daniel and recover the fortune he stole from her when he vanished last December. R.J. assures Tea he won't let anyone know how she turned to him for comfort in her hour of need. Asa receives the results of the DNA test and is stunned to learn that Max is his biological son. Renee, however, happily throws her arms around Max as Blair secretly celebrates the success of her private endeavors. Roseanne scurries down to the precinct house to give John the news flash about Tea and R.J.

Max forces a smile as Renee happily settles into the task of mothering her long-lost son. Grace coaxes Mindy to repeat her tale to the police commissioner. Asa takes Kelly to task for not crucifying Lindsay in print following her arrest for the hit-and- run. After spending a night apart, Nora suggests to Sam that he closely examine his true reasons for taking his ex-wife's case. Grace explains to Bo how the colorblind Mindy's inability to distinguish yellow from red actually makes her story more credible. Sam pressures Lindsay to reveal her real whereabouts on the night in question but she stubbornly maintains that she spent the entire evening in bed.
