Looking forward to an evening of uninterrupted passion, John and Tea turn off their pagers and unplug the phone. Just as they're settling down for some serious romance, however, Roseanne pops up and ruins the moment. Sam and Nora corner Grace, who confides her fear that Ben could be walking into a trap. Meanwhile, Ben and Kevin head to the rendezvous point on the roof of the Palace Hotel and discuss their strategy for saving Viki. Dorian fumes at being betrayed by Hugo but consoles herself with the knowledge that if she perishes in the coal cellar she will at least be taking Viki with her. Roseanne assures her irked aunt that she's on her way out for a date with the new guy in her life. Though Nora wants to accompany Sam on his rescue mission, he forces her to promise that she won~t put herself in the line of fire.

Sam is dismayed to read in the morning headlines that his brother has been arrested in the wake of Viki's disappearance. Hugo explains to Dorian why he has to lie low for a while. Max finally manages to persuade Blair to agree to an MRI by offering to undergo one himself at the same time. At the hospital, Kevin urges his sister to calm down for the sake of her unborn child. As Chris arrives to check on Jessica, Kevin privately admits to will how worried he is about his mom. Dorian plays dumb when R.J. wonders what she knows about the vanished Viki. Later, R.J. hits his pal up for a loan and is pleasantly surprised when Dorian hands over a check for ten grand. After having his own MRI, Max coaxes a nervous Blair up onto the table for hers.

Bo and Lindsay take in a movie together and experience a cozy sense of deja vu during a particularly steamy love scene. Worried about their missing mom, Joey and Jessica go back to their brother's place and question Ben. Kevin returns and reveals his suspicion that Viki has been kidnapped by Hugo. Meanwhile, Dorian binds her protesting prisoner with duct tape as Hugo explains how he's going to send a message to the distressed damsel's knight in shining armor. Nora and Sam resume their Internet search for Renee's long-lost son. As they discuss their personal partnership, Sam suggests to Nora that they go into business together as well. Ben admits to Joey and Jessica that he's in love with their mother, then promises he'll do whatever is necessary to bring Viki home safe and sound.

Max declares his love to Blair and swears he's never going to sleep with Kelly again. After Jessica assures her brother she isn't in labor, a worried Kevin tells Ben the call Viki took was definitely a set-up. Meanwhile, Viki comes to on Dorian's couch and demands to be released. Joey urges Kelly to remember how a real relationship feels and encourages her to reach for someone she truly loves and needs. Starr has a nightmare about losing her mother. Comforting the girl, Blair promises her daughter she's never going to leave her. Viki realizes in horror that Dorian's gun-toting cohort is the man who's been pursuing Ben. Certain Grace knows more about his mother than she's telling, Kevin presses her for the truth.

As Hank angrily wonders why his brother seems so hell-bent on self-destruction, Dorian snipes at John for harassing a solid citizen like R.J. Meanwhile, Tea is troubled to realize that the confession R.J. made to her privately could put him behind bars for a long time. Nora thanks Lindsay for saving her life during the blaze at Club Indigo. Unimpressed, Lindsay resumes her verbal attack on Nora, who finally counters with more of the same. Bo is unable to resist baby Matthew's charms during the commissioner's official visit to his former domicile. Dorian bitterly relates for R.J. how she saw Viki in the loving arms of the man she's been hiding at Llanfair. Sam explains to his fuming ex why he didn~t want his father's criminal history to taint his own family.

Lindsay tells will she's learned a lot from her trial by fire and is ready to turn over a brand new leaf. Hugo fuels Grace~s hatred for Ben by claiming that the fugitive physician tried to run him down the night before. A gloomy Bo confides to Hank how the inferno at Club Indigo heralded the official and irrevocable end of his marriage to Nora. Jessica frets about her unborn child following some disturbing news from her OB/GYN. Tea offers R.J. her sympathies on the loss of his club. A surly Sam stonewalls under questioning from Bo about his brother and their whole family's connection to the Las Vegas mob. Ben offers Jessica some friendly reassurances about the status of her pregnancy.

In the aftermath of the fire, Bo and Nora discuss where they go from here now that they've both admitted they still love one another. Meanwhile, Sam arrives at the scene of the inferno and searches frantically for Nora. Kelly drops by the carriage house late at night for a chat with a former flame. Using info gleaned from Kelly, Kevin plays psychic to impress an amused Grace with how much he already knows about her. All smiles after hitting the sheets with Ben, Viki tells her lover she seems to be seeing the whole world with new eyes tonight. Nora tearfully reminds Bo that her feelings for Sam will always be a barrier between them. Grace stems the flow of Kevin's prying questions by planting a kiss on his lips.

As the engagement party winds down, Kevin coaxes Grace to join him for a nightcap at the Palace bar. Nora faces off with Lindsay, who bitterly declares that she's going to expose Sam for the liar and fraud that he is. Viki follows Ben out into the driving rain and pleads with him to let her help. Hank gets nowhere trying to cheer up his despondent brother. will enjoys babysitting Matthew as he practices for his own child on the way. As the rain beats down around them, Viki declares her love to Ben. Though he tries to run her off, Ben finally succumbs to his own passion and sweeps Viki into his arms for a lingering kiss. After R.J. carelessness with his cigar sets Club Indigo on fire, he elects to let the place burn down and calmly exits the "empty" club, unaware that the ladies' room is still occupied.

John tells Bo that Sam's real last name is Davidson and he has a record a mile long. Dr. Lang presses Blair to come in for the MRI without delay. Dorian pours over blueprints of Llanfair, trying to determine where Viki could be hiding the wounded bartender. Ben ducks out of sight when Sofia comes to Llanfair's front door, asking for Viki. Kevin invites Grace to be his date for his grandfather's engagement party. Stung by Bo's news, Lindsey insists that the information about her ex must be wrong. Grace's grandfather cautions her not to allow Kevin's flattering attention to distract her from her real purpose in coming to Llanview. Max grows concerned when Blair nearly collapses again in front of him.

It finally occurs to Bo that Sam could have changed his name before he gained fame as a legal eagle. At the crossroads, Dorian gleefully taunts Viki about her new career as a karaoke singer. Kevin comes to and finds an anxious Grace peering down at him. Sam admits to Nora how guilty he feels about lying to will all these years. Feeling strangely drawn to Llanfair's new "carpenter", will opens up to Ben about his family and his hopes for the future. when Lindsay arrives, however, Ben high-tails it out of sight before will can introduce his mother to his new friend. Viki attempts to throw Dorian off the track but her single-minded nemesis refuses to be thwarted. Nora reports to a disappointed Renee that she's already hit several dead ends in her search for the child her client gave away.

Ben is disturbed when Viki shows him a family photo and he realizes that Kevin is her son. While Ben secretly watches, Dorian arrives at Llanfair and turns on the charm in an attempt to make amends with a suspicious Viki. After she leaves, Ben explains to Viki that Dorian paid the Crossroads a few visits in an attempt to find out about Viki. Grace secretly spies on Kevin and, thanks to an intercepted phone call, leaks to Hugo about Kevin and Ben's next meeting in the hospital parking garage at 10am. Later, when Kevin arrives for his next clandestine meeting with Ben, Hugo catches him off guard and knock him out. Dorian decides to visit with Sophia next and is shocked when Viki interrupts.

Viki panics when Ben abruptly disappears from Llanfair. Grace meets secretly with her co-conspirator, who suggests a change in their game plan. Joey is unable to hide his disgust when Max announces that he and Kelly are now co-habitating. Bo warns Sam he'll be charged with obstruction of justice unless he starts answering the questions he's been dodging for weeks. The attorney continues to stonewall, however, icily insisting he knows nothing about the Crossroads bar or any Vegas hitman. Dorian enlists R.J.'s assistance in her quest to prove that Viki was somehow mixed up in the shooting at the Crossroads. After Ben reappears with a bouquet of flowers plucked from her garden, Viki shakily admits how frightened she was to find him gone.

Hank wonders why Bo seems to have changed his tune regarding Lindsay. Kevin questions Grace about her sudden interest in Sam Rappaport, then reminds his Styles editor to stick to the stories she~s been assigned. At the crossroads bar, Sam pays Sophia for information about Ben and is stunned to learn "Blondie~s" real name. when Jessica and will walk in on her and Ben, Viki nervously claims that she~s simply showing the "carpenter" where she needs some new shelves built. Upon hearing will's last name, Ben is pleased to realize he~s meeting his nephew for the first time. Grace teases Kevin back into a good mood, then coaxes him to accept her dinner invitation as a way of making amends.
