Dr. Dreyfuss informs a relieved Nora that she is in fact pregnant. Kevin finds Cassie crying in the chapel and jumps to the wrong conclusion about the source of her emotional distress. During lunch with Sam, Tea and Blair, "Tom" accuses his ex of trying to steal Todd's newspaper away from him. Though Kevin swears he'll bring the shooter to justice, Cassie bitterly declares that prison is too good for the person who put her in a wheelchair and snuffed out Drew's life. Max hints to Kelly that he would be the ideal candidate to manage the Sun once she takes control of the paper. Waving the contract, "Tom" tells an outraged Tea and Sam how Blair and "Pete" conspired together. Joey happily confides to Viki that he's fallen in love with Barbara and wants to live with her at the carriage house.

As a stunned Cassie listens from the shadows, Barbara approaches Andrew and whispers that she was the person who killed Drew. As Cassie struggles to keep silent, Barbara begins to cry as she tries to explain how the terrible event happened. Andrew entreats Barbara to tell Kevin the truth about the shooting for his sake as well as her own. He warns that she will destroy herself if she doesn't come clean. Before she can tell him what she will do, Barbara runs off, leaving Andrew to pray for guidance at the church.

Joey again asks Barbara to move into the carriage house with him Asa demands to know if Nora is pregnant yet. Kneeling in the chapel, Bo offers up his thanks for Drew's life and for the life of the new child who is on the way. Praying for the strength to find his son's killer, Bo asks God to help him obtain forgiveness as well. Kevin and Kelly proudly present Cassie with a new, state of the art wheelchair to increase her mobility. Shuddering, Cassie refuses to try out the chair and tearfully explains to Kevin how she feels like she's robbed him of the future they were meant to share. R.J. reminds Dorian how much they both stand to lose if she compromises their hiding place and gives the authorities any leads on their whereabouts.

Blair swears to Sam that she didn't sleep with Max then begs the attorney to believe that her heart belongs only to him. As Todd ransacks the penthouse searching for the tape, Tea walks in and warns "Tom" to leave before Blair returns with Starr. Will again suggests to his stepsister that marriage is their best option but Jessica reminds him that the decision is hers alone and she won't bring an unwanted child into the world. Roeseanne commiserates with Cris as he ponders the abrupt end of a three-year romance. Annoyed to find Todd in the chapel, Andrew warns his old nemesis that divine retribution is certain to prove highly unpleasant when his time comes.

As R.J. grits his teeth in anticipation of another night at the cabin with Dorian, Blair surprises her aunt by bringing Starr up for a visit. Will wines and dines Roseanne at the country club. Viki prepares her daughter's favorite dinner in an attempt to cheer her up, but her choice of table talk proves unfortunate when she brings out Jessica's baby book. As Lindsey mercilessly prods Nora to spill the beans, Sam hurries up and drags his ex-wife aside. Grateful for the timely interruption, Nora takes a dizzy spell to draw her husband out of the line of tire. Lindsey hisses at Sam that she knows why he slept with Nora and she fully intends to tell Bo and Clint. Blair explains to Starr how much fun they're going to have together while Todd recovers.

Sam warns a rattled Nora that Lindsey saw them together at the cabana. John tries once more to convince Barbara to turn herself in before all the evidence comes to light. Viki leaps to her brothers defense when Lindsey snipes at "Tom". As Clint warns his ex-wife to see her wretched sibling for the fake and the liar that he is, Todd quietly adds another name to his list. Bo, Kevin and Mel muse over the possibility that someone inside the Llanview police department has been passing them information to help break open the case. Roseanne confronts will with her suspicions about Jessica. During lunch at the country club, Viki notices a very Todd-like quality to "Tom's" reaction when the manager tries to throw him out of the dining room.

A suspicious Roseanne demands to know why Jessica broke things off with Cris. Kevin shows Bo the photographic evidence his anonymous tipster sent him. As Sam restrains an enraged Todd, Tea urges the judge not to remove Starr from her client's custody. Sickened by the verdict in the Manning trial, Asa inadvertently unnerves Barbara by insisting that the guilty must be punished. Though Sam makes an eloquent plea for Todd to be allowed supervised visits with his daughter, the judge again refuses to overturn the jury's decision. Asa cautions Lindsey to keep her mouth shut about spotting Nora out by the cabanas with Sam. Roseanne accuses Jessica of seeing will behind Cristian's back.

Roseanne wonders why will suddenly seems so distant after weeks of being in hot pursuit. Jessica winces at the painful irony when Viki asks her to participate in a university symposium as a virginal role model for teen mothers. Nora and Sam have an awkward morning after spending the night together in an attempt to conceive "Bo's" child. Confessing that his participation was more selfish than he let on, Sam admits to a flustered Nora it was his last chance to demonstrate how he really feels about her. Tea receives word that the jury has reached its verdict. Roseanne is hurt and confused when will tells her they have no future together. Meanwhile, Jessica drops a bombshell on Cristian, who cannot fathom why he's been so abruptly dumped.

Jessica reminds will that marrying without love would be the second biggest mistake they could make. Sam suggests to Nora that the baby she fabricated is even more important to her than it would be to Bo. Lindsey appeals to Clint for help convincing her son to enroll at Columbia. Kevin tells Kelly about the anonymous tip he received. Tea tries unsuccessfully to conceal her own anxiety as she assures "Rod" that the jury's request for another review of the psychologists report is not a bad sign at all. After Nora sadly confides that she needs a miracle to save her husband and her marriage, Sam has a change of heart and offers to give his old friend a child for Bo. Jessica presses will to promise that he won't say a word about her pregnancy to anyone.

Stunned by Jessica's news, Will urges his unhappy stepsister to let him help. A fuming Blair corners Max and berates him for lying to Sam about them sleeping together. Nora apologizes to Sam for embarrassing him with her propostion that he father a child for her. As he waits impatiently for word of the jury's verdict, Todd promises Starr that wherever he ends up he'll love her always. Cris wonders if Jessica's strange mood is the result of a spat with her parents about her decision not to attend Columbia. Lindsey springs a surprise on Nora as she arranges for Bo and his wife to celebrate their good news with family and friends on the hospital's sun porch. Later, Renee pulls Lindsey aside and hisses at her for rubbing salt in Nora's wound.

Concerned that her daughter is looking peaked, Viki makes an appointment for Jessica with Larry. As Cassie returns to work at the Banner, Mel discloses how Congressman Graham tried to buy his endorsement by blackmailing Dorian. A tearful Nora explains to Sam why she's going to let Bo believe she's pregnant, then reveals her plan to turn her husband's dream into reality. Though Sam warns that the truth is bound to come out sooner or later, Nora insists she'll find a way to give her husband a child despite the results of his sperm test. Roseanne tells a pleased Carlotta she's decided to enroll in a class at Llanview University. When Jessica balks at going to see the doctor, Viki coaxes the unhappy girl to tell her what's wrong.

Although taken aback by Jessica's news, Will advises his step-sister not to panic until they know for sure if she's really pregnant. After the judge grants Sam's unusual request, Max takes the witness stand and describes how Todd admitted to him that he was faking his entire affliction. Sitting in the hospital's chapel, an anguished Nora prays for enough courage to come clean with Bo. Overhearing only the tail end of the attorney's prayer, Kelly happily congratulates Nora on her impending blessed event. While shopping for a home pregnancy test kit, Jessica and Will are flustered to bump into Lindsey. When Sam asks if anyone can back up his assertions, Max keeps mum about Blair and her tape. Certain he dodged a bullet, "Tom" tells Sam he has no idea why Max would tell such outrageous lies about him.

Determined to stay near Cristian, Jessica tells her startled mother she's decided to enroll at Llanview university instead of attending school in New York. Sensing that something else is troubling her daughter, Viki urges Jessie to open up but the girl again shrugs off her concern. As Todd's trial begins, Sam calls Tea to the witness stand and questions his co-counsel about her complicated personal relationship with their client. A worried Jessica does some research on teen pregnancies after realizing that her period is two weeks late. Mel gently pushes Joey to make peace with his brother. Later, Kevin offers Joey an olive branch and is relieved when he accepts it. Testifying about Todd's various personalities, Tea explains why she divorced her husband on grounds of abandonment but insists she loves "Rod" and "Tom".

Feeling guilty about causing her friend to lose his shot at art school, Roseanne entreats Cris to let her make it up to him somehow. Meanwhile, Jessica asks her grandfather for a loan. Tea and Sam try to coax an agitated "Tom" to get dressed for the trial but he refuses to budge from the penthouse. Cassie assures Kevin she's forgiven him for past mistakes. Joey moves back into the carriage house and invites Barbara to help him fix the place up. Hank angrily reminds John that any cop worth his salt would know that R.J. and Dorian were being set up. At the courthouse, Blair promises a grinning Max that she's going to make sure Todd gets locked behind bars for the rest of his unnatural life.
