Due to the New Year's holiday, "Guiding Light" will not air on Thursday, December 31 and will air a repeat episode on January 1.

When Dietz reminds Danny that he has 48 hours to come up with his brother's killer or else all four of his "friends" will be killed, Danny sends him on his way. Drew overhears Jesse arguing with Bill about why he has to leave town for good. Drew pleads with him to stay and later leaks to Danny who she thinks killed his brother. Ross enters with the twins just as Blake tells Ben that she's falling in love with him. Ross insists that the two of them join him and India and ring in the New Year together at Millennium. There, Ross toasts to their future after thanking Ben for giving him his freedom. Frank confirms that the cologne was spiked with a drug. Reva insists to Frank that Terri is responsible. Alan is taken aback when a picnic-basket-toting Terri arrives at the front door with an apology and an invitation. When he agrees to share a drink with her, he's intrigued when she knows where he keeps the cork screw. Later, Terri plants the bottle of drugs in Alan's safe.

Ross is pleasantly surprised when India brings breakfast for him and his sons. He catches her snooping in his checkbook but she quickly claims to be looking for a pen. Holly walks into Blake's house and finds a half-dressed Ben waiting, offering to pour her a cup of coffee. She's outraged to find him there and, after secretly taking a drink; gets into an argument with him and her daughter. Blake finally tells her mother to get out and not come back until she can accept Ben in her life. Drew is forced to hold Jesse back when Danny bursts into the apartment early in the morning and greets Michelle with a passionate kiss. When Jesse pulls him away, Danny reveals that he was simply working on their latest psychiatry lab experiment.

Terri begins to lose control as she realizes that she is locked in Josh's hospital room. Bill stops by to visit Josh and is surprised to find the detective locked in his room instead. He quickly arranges for Nurse Molly to set her free. Rick and Hart escort Cassie and her new baby to the Lewis house where Reva and Josh greet them. They're surprised to hear Dinah confess that she helped Cassie deliver her new baby boy. Cassie covers for Dinah when Reva asks why she was with Cassie in the first place. After Reva tries to lecture Dinah about her schemes against her sister, Dinah cries to Hart about the pain she still feels over the loss of their baby. when Cassie finally tells Reva that Dinah kidnaped her to take her as far away from Hart as possible, Reva pushes her to tell Hart what happened. Buzz finds Selena alone in the shuttered diner. She admits that she wasn't able to tell Drew that she is her mother and pleads with Buzz not to tell anyone. Drew interrupts and immediately senses something is wrong with Selena. Guessing she's worried about her daughter, Drew presses Selena for information about her and as Buzz sadly watches, the two get into a bitter argument.

Hart is disappointed when he misses Cassie at her place in Chicago and is told that Reva supposedly picked her up. Donning a blond wig, Dinah poses as Reva and fools Cassie into getting into her rental car. Dinah then boasts to her prisoner that Tammy is safe. She leaks that Hart found out the truth about the baby Cassie is carrying and warns that she scarred her own face to keep Hart and is willing to do just about anything to keep the man she loves. As they argue, Dinah loses control of the car on the snow- slicked road and skids off the road, hitting an embankment. . There, Cassie goes into labor. Meanwhile, Terri takes care of Tammy after picking her up at the station. Bringing her back to her place with a phony story about her mother, Terri tries to convince Tammy that she is her friend. Drew tells Selena she'd hate her parents if she found out she was adopted.

Dropping off a present at Millennium, Michelle's upset when she turns around and finds Danny standing right behind her. Holly boasts to Ken that she had a vivid dream that Fletcher brought Meg home for the holidays. When she hears the doorbell, she rushes to see her daughter and is disappointed to find Michelle standing at the door with Christmas cookies. Michelle is upset when she finds Holly has spiked the eggnog even though she promised to stop drinking. Hearing Meg calling out for her, Holly starts drinking again. Phillip arranges a special night out with Harley but reluctantly agrees to go the movies with his new wife and Susan to see a "chic flick". Later, a scheming Susan guesses to Harley that Phillip doesn't like her.

When Dinah runs to Terri for help winning back Hart, the deranged detective suggests that she kill Cassie and solve her problem for good. When Dinah admits that she couldn't kill an innocent baby, Terri suggests she frighten her with threats and urges her to follow Reva to find her sister. Dinah then approaches Reva and lies about why she needs to contact her sister. Reva sees through her lies and laughs at her effort. She boasts that Cassie is coming back to Springfield tomorrow morning. Meanwhile, Hart runs to Blake for advice on how to find Cassie. Ben offers to help him find Cassie in Chicago but Hart is reluctant to accept it. While Hart explains his anger to his sister and she shares her feelings for Ben, Ben uses a crooked client to get a lead on Cassie.

Hart is rocked when he overhears Vanessa mention to Matt that Hart's the real father of Cassie's baby. Vanessa and Dinah try to cover the slip but Matt finally confesses that they've known all along that he fathered Cassie's baby. He's furious with Dinah for lying to him again causing Dinah to blame Vanessa and Matt for ruining her happiness with Hart. Vanessa blasts Matt for leaking the truth and defends her daughter's actions. When Matt points out that Dinah needs professional help, Vanessa announces that she needs some time away from him. Stopping by Millennium for her final check, Selena is determined when Drew refuses to pay her and orders her to get out. Still fuming after her argument with Drew, Selena chases her ex-boss upstairs where she catches sight of Drew's baby photo and realizes that she is her long-lost daughter.

Josh slips away from the hospital and grabs Terri. He locks her into a room at the lighthouse where he angrily demands to know what she has done to him. As he yells at her, he lets slip with Annie's name and accuses Terri of being in cahoots with her. Meanwhile, a worried Reva tells Abigail her suspicion that Annie is using Ten to get to Josh. Calling Frank in on the case, Reva complains about Ten and mentions finding her in the Lewis bathroom earlier, supposedly looking for a burglar. Frank refuses to believe her when she claims that Annie is working with Terri to take Josh. When he calls her on her cell phone, Terri manages to whisper that Josh is holding her captive at the lighthouse. After India sells a pin to a jeweler named Josh Patterson, she manages to convince Ben to buy her a drink.

Terri frantically runs to Dinah for help now that Josh is in the hospital being tested. Calming her down, Dinah urges her to have faith that no one will find out her secret. Josh comes to and complains to Reva about his nightmare featuring Annie, Cassie, Reva and the coin left in Annie's will. Matt interrupts and asks Josh how he could hand over the Triple Z land to Spaulding, after his six months of work on the project. After Josh admits he has no answer, Matt warns Reva that there is no way they will get the land back. Dr. Bradford meets with Josh but later, Reva discovers he's missing. Michelle complains to Drew about Danny's snooping. Jesse and Bill arrive just as Michelle opens a package from Danny.

Hart tries to put Cassie out of his mind and work on making his marriage a success. Dinah tries to downplay Dr. Morton's prognosis about her scarred face but Hart sees through her lies and pushes her to tell him how she really feels. Pulling out a bottle of very old brandy, he offers to spend some special time with her. Calling him on his sudden desire to get close to her, Dinah questions why he has yet to make love to her since they were married. Dr. Morton assures Vanessa that she doesn't need his plastic surgery expertise because he thinks she is beautiful. After she knocks Josh out, Terri tells Alan and Reva that Josh fainted while they were talking. Alan steps out for a moment and calls Beth to have Vanessa sign the Triple z real estate deal.

Reva catches Terri snooping in her bathroom and demands to know why the detective is there. Terri quickly lies and claims that she saw their door wide open and feared the stalker was inside. When Reva all but calls her a liar, Terri reminds her that she once saved her life. Alan confronts Josh about the Triple Z land lease and is rocked when a troubled Josh responds with a warning to stay away from Terri. Buzz worries Frank, Eleni and Selena when he suddenly decides to take the boys and sail around the world as he planned to do with Jenna. Selena locks him in the cooler with her and does her best to convince him to stay. Waiting for Susan's father to arrive, Harley lectures her daughter that she can't stay with her and Phillip because she already has a home.

While scheming to take over the Triple Z land that Lewis oil has leased for years, Vanessa can't concentrate and confides to Alexandra that she's concerned about Beth's undying interest in Matt. Alexandra assures her that she's not too old for Matt. Wanda can't believe it when Josh refuses to act on the lease renewal even though the Spaulding's may win the property. When Reva arrives at the Lewis oil office, she also shows no interest in discussing the land lease. Instead, Reva confronts Josh and admits that she met with Terri's brother in Detroit. He's upset to hear about her snooping which causes Reva to wonder why Josh is so quick to defend Terri. When their argument almost turns into a fight, Josh asks Reva to leave.

Buzz heads to the docks where he talks aloud to his dead wife that he doesn't know if he can handle her memorial service today. Though Phillip tells Susan that she's to stay home, Harley asks Phillip to take her with him while she takes some time alone to remember Jenna. She then imagines being with Jenna who advises her that she will know how to get through the service today. Phillip introduces Susan to Lizzie and Beth who doesn't like the idea of Lizzie going to the memorial service. When Blake finds her mother not dressed for the service, Holly confesses that she is to blame for Jenna's death.

Frank and Eleni discuss what and when to tell Coop about Jenna's death. When Harley arrives at the shuttered diner, she talks with her father about the first time she met Jenna and reminds him it was when she arrested her. Shaking as he talks, Buzz explains the anger he feels at having his wife ripped from his life. Terri worries to Dinah that Reva suspects something. As they talk, Josh knocks on Terri's door and demands to see her. Inside, he finds Dinah who quickly goes to the next room. Josh then admits that Reva's away so he came to see her. He then kisses her passionately but Dinah interrupts him and is shocked to see him so desperate. They both warn him about calling Terrri "Annie" and send him home.

After taking Abby into her confidence, Reva explains her feeling that Detective Terri Demarco knows more about Annie than she is willing to let on. When Terri and Frank spot Reva, Abby offers to read Terri's lips and finds out all the terrible things Ten is saying about her. Meanwhile, Terri tells Frank that Reva is a little off balance because she thinks Annie is still alive. After Frank leaves, Reva decides to challenge Terri and questions her again about Annie. Terri deflects the questions but causes Reva to decide to fly to Detroit to talk with Terri's brother. Josh stumbles around outside the diner, trying to figure out who he wants in his life: Reva or Annie. Ben confronts Ross with the letters from their mother and accuses him of being responsible for their mother dying of a broken heart.

Calling herself Susan LeMay, a teen girl shows up at Harley's door with the news that she is her long-lost daughter. Susan explains that she's here because her other mother died. When Harley offers to call her father to let him know she's okay, Susan claims that her father doesn't care about her. With his yachting cap on, Buzz boasts to Ross that he and Jenna are leaving town. Meanwhile, Jeffrey enters just as Holly tells Jenna that she knows she lied about Rocky being Buzz's son. Jeffrey forces Holly to leave and then grabs Jenna and blasts her for taking his child away. Jenna pleads with him to leave the boy with her and Buzz because he's being raised the way he should be. Announcing that it is time for her to "pay the piper" Jeffrey states that he is going to get what he deserves today.

When the stalker's latest rhyme falls out of the magazine Holly wanted, Jenna assumes Holly is the stalker and then apologizes and sees the threat as being aimed at Holly. However, when Holly continues to act strangely and won't let her call Buzz, Jenna realizes the horrible truth. Though Buzz is relieved when Frank reveals Jeffrey's rumored to be on his way to Europe, he explains to his son that he and Jenna are taking the kids and leaving the country. Buzz confesses that both he and Jenna have been having a feeling that something bad is about to happen and that's why they are leaving. Buzz asks Selena to take over the diner Meta finds Blake looking at photos of Ross and Ben's mother, contemplating how to understand the terrible past Ben suffered.

When Hart convinces her to allow him to remove her bandage, Dinah is taken aback when his son Peter reacts to the ugly scar on her face. Holly covers when Jenna returns home and finds her lurking inside her home. Holly slips out when Buzz bursts in with a surprise. He suggests to Jenna that they move away from Springfield to stay safe from Jeffrey and to fulfill one of their wildest dreams. Though reluctant to leave with two small children, Jenna agrees to sail to the South Seas. Realizing she left the "stalker" magazine inside, Holly tries to get it back but Jenna finds the latest threatening note. Reva asks Alan to help her prove that Annie stole the missing body from the morgue.

Phillip carries Harley over the threshold as they return home but they're surprised to find Buzz and the others are there to greet them. Alexandra confides to Beth and India that her plans to stay in town are up in the air. She offers to help Beth get through the day when she reminds her and India that Beth's ex- husband is returning to Springfield today with his blushing bride. Beth overreacts when Alexandra mentions Matt to her. Holly dons her stalker disguise and makes plans for her next attack, this time choosing to instruct Jenna on how "precious the children are" because of her lie to Jeffrey about their baby. Frank stuns Jenna and Buzz with the news that Jeffrey's sentence was just overturned.
