Robin dresses herself and Michael in Halloween costumes for a night at home with Jason. Lucky and Nikolas head to the police station to try and pry out information from Fred about the blackmailer. Mr. Yergin suggests to Elizabeth that she try her hand at modeling. Meanwhile, Tom coaxes Emily to pose for a "special" shoot for a new client. Robin explains to a skeptical Jason why Michael needs to get a dose of make-believe every now and then Stefan invites Laura to dinner to discuss plans for Nikolas' upcoming birthday. As the Scorpio's arrive in costume to celebrate Maxie's Halloween birthday, Jason stares at Mac's Zorro outfit in unabashed dismay.

Jax sets up a trial run for V at the penthouse by simulating a glittering night in Monte Carlo. Jerry reports to Stefan that he's already laid the groundwork for transferring his nephew's millions into a secret Swiss account. At Downtown Faces, Emily and Nikolas keep Mr. Yergin busy while Lucky sneaks into the head man's office and hacks through his computer files. A.J. gleefully informs Jason that he's been cleared to visit Carly at Ferncliff. Later, a fretful Robin warns Jason that Carly is using A.J. to strike back at him. Nikolas reluctantly agrees to do some test shots when his cover story about wanting to be a model goes over too well.

Audrey tells Bobbie that Lucky and Elizabeth have joined the intern program at Downtown Faces. Felicia comes to another crucial juncture in her novel and again calls on Mac for some of his expertise to help her wriggle out of her plot twist quandary. Nikolas gives Emily a pep talk about her bright future as a top model, then asks the beaming girl to show him a few of the hip hop moves she's learned for her next photo shoot. As Justus listens in, Taggert tells Jax he's sorry for the raw deal the former mogul was handed when his family's criminal activities were inadvertently brought to light during a separate investigation. Irked to see a male model hitting on Elizabeth, Lucky vents his jealousy by "accidentally" ramming a mail cart into the photogenic fellow's leg.

Down and out on the wrong side of the tracks, Alan finds himself scraping for enough cash to buy some groceries and pay for another handful of painkillers. Bobbie reminds Elizabeth that it is time for her to take a follow-up HIV test. At the Quartermaine mansion a seething Monica accuses Katherine of taking her diamond bracelet. Meanwhile, Alan decides to leave his wife's purloined jewelry in the hock shop for another few weeks. Mac admits to Felicia that he can't stop thinking about Robin being in close proximity with a man who loses his temper in such a violent manner. Jax gives V her final lesson for living high off the hog and cautions his protege to always remember that if a person has to ask the price of something, she cannot afford it.

During a confrontation with his former spouse, Tony realizes that Bobbie has known all along who set the fire which nearly extinguished their young son. Stefan instructs Jerry to quietly embezzle his nephew's fortune and transfer it to a Swiss bank account. Meanwhile, a flustered Katherine apologizes to Nikolas for leading him on but he refuses to let her take sole responsibility for their passionate kiss. Tony warns Bobbie that he'll use his new evidence to force another custody hearing. Edward summons the Quartermaines to a working lunch at the Port Charles Grill. As A.J. begins to report on the docks project, an enraged Jason runs in and attacks his brother.

Nikolas questions Stefan about his relationship with Laura. Stefan informs him that he was merely trying to repay her for her help during his trial. During breakfast, Jax tells Jerry that he wants nothing to do with his latest venture. A spying Tony then tells Jax that they are both social outcasts now and they should team up together. Jason visits Carly and informs her that he thinks it would be best if she live with Bobbie. Nikolas visits Katherine and tells her that she was right about Stefan and Laura. Meanwhile, Alexis notifies Stefan about Helena's latest threat.

A furious Katherine accuses Reginald of theft after discovering that all her evening gowns are gone. Meanwhile, Ned surprises V with a collection of designer dresses to pick from for her big debut in Monte Carlo. Jax drops by the cottage to check on Robin but is overcome with memories of Brenda during happier times. Though Mike prods him to go home to Robin, Jason insists that the situation is too complicated to be solved with a quick fix. Katherine gets no sympathy from any of the smirking Quartermaines as she continues to complain about her missing wardrobe. Mike urges Jason to figure out a way to deal with Carly and Robin before things get completely out of hand.

As Jason returns to the garage, Robin stammers out an explanation and swears she'll retrieve Michael from the Quartermaines immediately. Elizabeth suggests to Emily that they get some help from Mr. Murty with the next phase of their plan. Meanwhile, Nikolas invites Lucky to come back to Windemere and use his uncle's high-powered computer again. On Spoon Island, Laura is unable to stop thinking about her days with Stefan. Edward vows to disinherit Ned if he ever resurrects "Eddie Maine". After A.J. strolls in and triumphantly reports how he just spent the whole afternoon caring for Michael, Monica frets that her son's recklessness has jeopardized her hard-won visiting privileges with her grandson.

Robin confides to Felicia how scared she is of losing Jason. Meanwhile, at the garage, a seething Jason orders his brother to hand Michael over. Though A.J. hastily explains that he was pressed into babysitting service because of the flooding emergency, Jason refuses to listen to reason. Ned and Alexis' romantic rendezvous at L&B hits a snag when V turns "two's" company" into "three's a crowd". A.J. warns Jason that Michael will one day fiercely resent him for keeping the boy away from his entire family. An exasperated Justus and Taggert get stuck together in yet another elevator at the courthouse. Alexis and V join forces and prod Ned into agreeing to revive his musical career.

Though Laura shakily insists that she wants only her husband, Stefan reminds her that they share not only a son but a love which has endured for decades. Carly tearfully explains to Bobbie how much she's endured for the sake of her young son. Recalling her troubled early years, Carly tells Bobbie why it's been so difficult for her to learn to trust people. Deperate to return to the garage befor Jason gets back, Robin calls Felicia for help after her car stalls on a flooded road near the cottage. Laura is forced to remain at Windemere when the thunderstorm makes a lake crossing too treacherous to attempt. A.J. struggles to calm a crying Michael as the thunder and lightning rages around the garage.

Lucky, Emily, Nikolas and Elizabeth break into the studio and search through Tom's contact sheets from the last photo shoot. As a thunderstorm moves over Port Charles, Stefan slyly maneuvers his way into lunching alone with Laura on Spoon Island. At Ferncliffe, Bobbie pressures Dr. Evans to allow her a visit with her daughter. Mike gives Robin some fatherly advice about dealing with the situation involving Carly and Jason. Laura and Stefan reminisce about a magic moment they shared during another storm years ago. While the guys look through the dozens of contact sheets, Emily persuades Elizabeth to try on one of the elegant gowns from the models' rack.

Assuring V she's a natural at baccarat, Jax invites Ned up to the penthouse for a round of cards so his accomplice can practice her newfound skill. Elizabeth tells Emily she feels safer with Lucky than anywhere else in the world. As the long night wears on out on the pier, Lucky instructs Nikolas to carefully eyeball whoever picks up the blackmail money so they can give the poolice a highly detailed description. Elizabeth plays Emily the song Lucky wrote and recorded just for her. As V rehearses for her debut as a wealthy countess, Ned offers to float Jax a loan so he can rebuild his once vast empire. Unaware that Nikolas and Lucky are crouching nearby, Helena reminds Alexis that she and Luke will pay dearly for trying to kill her.

Monica confronts Tammy about Alan. Tammy tells her that if there is anything that she can do to help Alan, to let her know. The two woman agree and they shake hands. After exchanging jabs about each others living arrangments, Lucky and Nikolas pull together to find out who may be blackmailing Emily. Lizzie asks her friends to stop walking on egg shells about her rape. Lucky, Lizzie, Nikolas, and Emily set a plan in motion. Tony serves Bobbie and Jerry a summons to appear before a judge. Dara tells Taggert that she got him a promotion.

Dr. Evans warns Carly to retrain from any more emotional outbursts. Katherine tells a skeptical Nikolas he really should make an effort to get to know his grandmother better. Flustered by their kiss, Laura reminds Stefan that Luke is her life. Emily receives a second blackmail demand for twenty thousand dollars to be dropped at the pier the following night. Mac cautions Jason not to forget that today is Robin's birthday, then suggests that the best gift for his niece would be a lasting truce between the two of them. Afterwards, Felicia commends Mac for making a gesture of peace towards Jason despite his obvious antipathy for the young man. Jax cajoles a nervous V into agreeing to play the role of his wealthy benefactor at the gaming tables in Monte Carlo.
