On the way back to Sami and trying to evade a police road block, Austin gets his car stuck and is forced to walk. However, he runs into a bobcat but has no trouble with the animal when he uses some meat from the groceries he bought to distract the cat. Austin finally returns to the cabin with food for Sami but the two fail to spot a hunter with a rifle nearby. Stefano explains to Rolf that Gina will start to copy the artwork tomorrow so he can switch them. He also vows to use the device on Vivian no matter how dangerous it might be. Hearing noises from her, Dr. Wu finds and removes the strange electronic device from Vivian's mouth. After he agrees to examine it, Vivian blames Stefano and vows to make him pay.

Because of the news coverage on Wednesday, this is a repeat episode from yesterday. After kissing Eric passionately, Nicole takes a break to change into something more comfortable. When she returns, he assures her that while she did make a mistake, he thinks that she has proven that she can be trusted. Cozying up to him, Nicole tells Eric that she is all his. Billie manages to stop Lucas from taking a drink. He calls Nicole and interrupts her passionate night with Eric. He then boasts to his sister that he will take Nicole from Eric. Hope explains to Bo that she slapped him earlier because she flashed back to an image of him making love to Billie.

After kissing Eric passionately, Nicole takes a break to change into something more comfortable. When she returns, he assures her that while she did make a mistake, he thinks that she has proven that she can be tursted. Cozying up to him, Nicole tells Eric that she is all his. Billie manages to stop Lucas from taking a drink. He calls Nicole and interrupts her passionate night with Eric. He then boasts to his sister that he will take Nicole from Eric. Hope explains to Bo that she slapped him earlier because she flashed back to an imae of him make love to Billie. He warns her about being alone with a man as demented as Stefano. He also promises her that he will do whatever it takes to make up for the pain he caused her.

Ali explains to Mike and the others that she was attacked from behind in the hospital garage. Carrie confides to Lucas that she thinks Ali made up this mugging story. Meanwhile, Ali makes a phone call and tells the mystery person that he did a great job and she has another for him. Greta explains to John and Bo that she feels her mother is in Salem. Seeing them together laughing, Vivian storms out after Stefano warns Eope that Vivian is just jealous. Hope explains her desire to see her daughter Greta whom she has not seen in years. Stefano demands that she stay away from Greta. When she asks what happened to her partner, Stefano explains that she doesn't need one anymore.

Hope boasts to Stefano that she knows where he's been hiding the stolen art work. She also claims to know how he used Jonesy in his scheme to hide the valuable paintings. When she starts to laugh at him, he suddenly reaches out and chokes her. Rut when she laughs at him further, he stops and accuses her of being Gina. The two then compare moments from the past as she announces that she wants to have fun now. Vivian interrupts and finds Gina tickling Stefano. Greta dreams that her mother is still alive. Eric is upset when he finds Lucas with Nicole again. Bo complains to Roman that he refuses and eventually takes her to an unused cabin for safe keeping.

Approaching the police road block, Austin pushes Sami to the back seat and orders her to hide under a blanket with will. When she does so, they're able to get through the road block safely. Noticing her 4-wheel drive car is gone, Kate gives Roman the description and he acts quickly to get the license broadcast all over town. Sami and Austin are somber when they hear Roman and Marlena on the radio pleading with them to come back. Hope and Bo kiss. She suddenly remembers a picture of her and Stefano and hits Bo. She apologizes and gives him the ring back. She claims to need some time and space to consider the engagement. Stefano visits Greta and mentions that she and her mother meant a lot to him.

Sami and Austin listen to the car radio for an announcement about what the jury decided in her trial. The two worry when they approach a road block Waiting for the jury, Marlena tells Mickey that the family is grateful for all that he has done. Kate and Lucas arrive at the courthouse to hear the jury's verdict. Mike asks Carrie why she always has to take the blame for the problems with Austin. A nurse finally hands Carrie the note Austin left for her. She lets Mike read it and fears the worst when she realizes that Austin took off with Sami and Will. In spite of Sami's disappearance, the judge orders the jury to reveal that they have found Sami guilty.

Rolf informs a pleased Stefano that the readout from the satellite shows that, in spite of the storm, the chip was successfully activated in Hope's brain. Austin's upset when he can't find Carrie at the hospital. He leaves a note for her and learns that the jury has returned to announce their verdict. Austin stops by Sami's guestroom and explains that he is there to take her and will away because he's heard Nancy tell Craig the jury's going to find her guilty. Later, Eric reports to the family that Sami and will are missing. Austin drives them away and explains that his escape plan is her only chance. After her accident, Hope is finally found by a man operating a snow plow and she is taken to the hospital.

Due to live coverage of the Senate impeachment trial, "Days of Our Lives" did not air on Tuesday, January 19.

Austin overhears Craig on the phone with Nancy and learns that the jury is leaning towards convicting Sami. Austin realizes he must prove that it was Lucas who killed Franco. Hearing him arguing with Sami, Kate grabs the phone from Lucas and orders to staty away from her son. Austin arrives and tells Lucas to stop hiding behind his mother and face the consequences of his actions. Lucas boasts that he is going to get custody of Will and raise him as his son once Sami goes to prison. Carrie finally gets a chance to her talk with Mike about Ali and warns him that she overheard hter boasting that she's going to marry him. Mike admits that he is lonely. He sadly states that he did find the perfect woman for him but knows that he can't have her because she's married.

Hope remembers painting over other paintings on various canvases and is shocked to realize that she was the art thief who stole the originals. Lily informs Hope that she fell asleep before her paintings were stolen many years ago which triggers a memory of Hope drugging her. Rolf warns Stefano that there is trouble on the horizon in the form of a blizzard which is moving close and could ruin their plans to activate the chip in Hope's head. Running into Billie at the mall, Bo reveals that he and Hope are getting married. She wishes him all the best. Bo asks Alice for permission to marry Hope. Mike congratulates Lucas on the job he did to save will from choking.

Due to the senate Impeachment hearing, "Days of Our Lives" did not air Thursday, January 14.

Shocked by her mother's threats, Lucas warns Kate that she is acting worse than Sami. Sami apologizes to Eric and Carrie for what she's done to them. Carrie assures Sami that she will always be her sister. Sami then promises Lucas that if it's the last thing she does, she will make sure that he never comes near her son. Alli confesses to Mike that she wants him in her life. The two then join the others to show their support for Sami. Alli warns Carrie not to talk about work tonight. Nancy sneaks a phone call to Craig to let him know that the jury is deadlocked. In the powder room, Kate boasts to Sami that she is going to lose her son and her future when she's found guilty and sent to prison.

Finding Hope still unconscious, Roif warns Stefano that the special chip implanted in her head may have been affected by her fall. Bo brings Shawn-Douglas home and is worried when he can't find Eope. He rushes over to Stefano's place with his son in tow and finds her upstairs. There, she comes to and remembers her son. Stefano explains what happened but Ro remains upset as he carries Hope out. The plastic surgery is performed on Greta's face. Carrie decides to warn Mike about what she overheard Ah telling Craig. Greta wakes and sees John in her room but imagines him as Father John with her mother Gina. Kate and Lucas stop for a bite to eat and find plans in the works for a celebration party for Sami.

Abe and Bo are relieved when the body of the dead boy is revealed to be someone besides Shawn-Douglas. The two head out on a boat to search for the boy and hear someone shouting for help. Bo manages to rescue his son. The lunar eclipse is scheduled for tonight in Salem. Hope overhears Stefano yelling into his phone that he wants the boy found immediately. She pleads with him to take her life instead of her son's. Mike tells Carrie that the hospital needs her. Ali boasts to Craig that she is going to convince Carrie that she should be with Mike. She then thanks Carrie for being there as a friend when she needed her. Carrie eavesdrops as Ali talks with Craig about her plans to reunite with Mike tonight.

In the hospital John helps keep Greta company as she prepares for surgery. On the stand Marlena is forced to admit that Sami did try to sell a baby on the black market when she discovered that the baby was the result of an affair. However, she claims that Sami is incapable of committing murder. Eric takes the stand and admits that Sami has told numerous lies to Lucas and others. Austin is recalled to the stand and is forced to admit that Sami did indeed break up his relationship with Carrie. However, he quickly adds that he considers himself lucky to be Sami's friend. Carrie assures Mike that she doesn't want to quit her job at the hospital because of him but after he leaves, she writes a letter of resignation.

Bo finds Shawn-Douglas' jacket floating in the river. Outside the courtroom, Kate slaps Roman's face for trying to trick her son. He warns her that the police believe Lucas framed Sami for Franco' murder. Candy the stripper takes the stand and mentions how Franco once tried to strangle her. Sami is next on the stand and tells her story about what she remembers from that deadly night. The D.A. surprises everyone by not asking her any questions. Marlena is then called to testify and asked to comment on how Sami is capable of hurting someone she loves by kidnaping her half sister. Mike urges Carrie to quit her job at the hospital. Alli boasts to Craig that she is going to marry Mike one day.

Sami's disappointed when Roman reveals that his plan to force Lucas to confess failed. He urges her to take the stand in her own defense. Lucas admits to Kate and victor that Roman tried to trick him into confessing but Nicole stopped him. Victor advises them to stop bickering and reminds them that Roman has no way to prove what really happened. He also states that they have a trump card in that they know Sami threatened them with a gun and Roman allowed her to leave without arresting her. Austin makes a New Year's resolution with Carrie to always talk about things that are bothering him. While kissing Nicole, Eric receives a call from Roman who updates him on what happened with Lucas and adds that he doesn't trust Nicole because of her relationship with Lucas.
