Austin holds will on his lap during the boy's birthday party. Sami confides to Austin that he's wrong if he thinks that she has changed. Sami explains to Carrie her surprise upon hearing that Mike didn't give Ali Mike but Carrie denies it. Roman spots Eric and Nicole kissing. Lucas explains to Taylor that there was a time when he and Sami were friends. She advises him that he might score points for himself by supporting Sami in court. Ali asks Mike if Carrie is jealous of their relationship. She surprises him with the news that she's made reservations for them at the Green Mountain but he claims that he's got too much work to leave to town.

Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, there will be no summary of "Days of Our Lives" on Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27. Thinking that she got the job as head nurse, Ali excitedly hugs Mike only to learn that someone else was named. Carrie chases after Ali as she starts crying and runs down the stairs. Mike then gives Judy some flowers and announces that she is the new head nurse. Craig and Nancy are dumbfounded by Mike's decision. Ah confides to Carrie that both of her parents are doctors and she now feels like a failure in their eyes. Carrie tries to assure her that she is special. She then warns Mike that Ali is scared and feeling defeated now and he is her only salvation.

Kate announces to Stefano that she thinks he's lost his mind in deciding to marry Vivian. She warns him that if he breaks the promise he made her, she will tell Vivian why he is marrying her. Stefano assures her that Vivian will sign a prenuptial agreement. Abe gives Roman permission to spy on Kate but warns him about doing anything that would result in a lawsuit. Abe then suggests to Roman that he talk with Roberto about Kate. After admitting that Carrie arranged his birthday party, Ali confesses to Mike that she hopes Carrie never comes between them. She then allows Carrie to arrange the party for the departing head nurse. Hope confides to Alice about the recent memory flash she suffered from and reveals that she remembered being Gina and running from danger.

Vivian is amazed when she imagines Jonsey who again warns her not to marry Stefano. Celeste suggests to Vivian that the voices she has been hearing are actually her conscience talking to her. Vivian shows Kate the ring Stefano gave her and boasts that once they are married, she will have forty nine percent of Titan. Celeste mentions to John that Kristen was at the townhouse before Vivian was. Rolf warns Stefano his fear that Vivian does not have much time left to live because of their plan. Stefano watches John warning Vivian not to marry Stefano. Nicole again warns her sister to stay away from Eric or else she will tell him about her crush on him. At the photo shoot Lucas fantasizes that he's kissing Nicole.

At the mall Sami is upset when she overhears some women admitting their feeling that Sami should be thrown behind bars where she belongs. Taylor overhears Lucas suggesting to Nicole that she is talented without Eric and doesn't need him for anything. In fact, Lucas tells her that Eric actually owes her for advancing his career. Lucas is given the task of taking over the "New Faces" campaign for Sami but is warned that Eric will be the head photographer. Sami urges Eric to forgive Nicole for her lies. She also tells him to concentrate on his assignment and forget about being in court with her. Rose narrows the list of candidates for the head nurse position to three names: Judy, Beth and Ah.

When some mall rats call Greta "zipper face," Billie comes to her defense. Greta thanks her but urges Billie to move on with her life and face the truth that Hope had nothing to do with her losing her baby. Carrie fumes when she learns that Ali was talking about her upcoming promotion. She confronts her and demands to know when Mike promised her the job as head nurse. Ali suggests that she stay out of their lives. Carrie later updates Nancy on Ah's boasting. Craig urges Ali to work in surgery with as many doctors as possible in order to win the head nurse position. Roman explains to Kate that he feels Sami is not capable of committing murder. He sees her more as a protective mother than a wild school girl.

Greta calls John and explains that she would like to get to know Marlena better. She suggests that he invite Hope and Bo to join them for dinner at the Penthouse Grill. John warns Stefano to stay out of Greta's life. Stefano snaps Vivian into a calm mood as they dine at the Penthouse Grill. Hope hears a song from the past and thinks of Gina. Stefano snaps Vivian into a happy mood and Hope hears the music once again. Greta is upset when some teenage mall rats make fun of her face. Nancy tells Carrie that she has jury duty tomorrow. Mike suggests to Ali that he thinks that they should stop seeing each other until after he has made his decision about the head nurse position.

Billie questions her mother about her past and how she came from being poor to her current status as a powerful and rich woman. While telling her daughter how hard she worked, Kate remembers her days as a hooker. Mike explains to Carrie that he went to see Austin at the gym to stand up for her the same way that Austin stands up for Sami. Carrie claims that she is willing to do whatever is necessary to make her marriage work. Austin later confides to Carrie that if Sami is the only problem in their marriage, then their marriage is in good shape. Stefano pushes the upbeat button on the remote control device to bring Vivian back to normal. He then calls Kate to reveal that Vivian was questioned about Kate's past.

Greta explains that she doesn't know how Stefano found her but he did save her after she slipped off the side of the cliff. Greta then joins them at the pub. A toast is made in honor of John's future with Marlena and Bo's future with Hope. Rolf explains to Stefano that they will not be able to use the satellite to control the chips that are imbedded in Hope and John's brains for another couple of weeks until the lunar eclipse occurs. Stefano then pays Vivian a visit, armed with his remote-control device and a bouquet of flowers. Billie tells Kate that she doesn't believe Sami could have killed Franco. Lucas remembers the shooting and accidentally lets slip that it was an accident.

Roman informs Kate that he was able to clearly hear the gunshot fired in the living room from her bedroom. She counters that the band was playing louder than the music he used for the test and adds that she was also in the shower at the time. Kate angrily accuses Roman of abusing his power and orders him to get out. Mike tries to talk with Austin about Lucas and suggests that everyone deserves a second chance. He also hints that he'd be crazy to allow Sami to ruin his marriage. Caught with Stefano, Greta assures John, Marlena and Hope that she is not working for him. However, he is a friend who always helped her. Stefano explains to Hope that she was hurt and was suffering from amnesia.

Carrie explains to Sami that she and Mike did what they felt was the right thing to do in allowing Lucas to spend time with his son. Austin angrily tells his wife that she went to far. Carrie suggests to Austin that they wouldn't be fighting so much if he would stop taking Sami's side in everything. Fed up with her, Austin heads to the gym for a workout. Kate and Lucas come home and find Roman running a test to determine the noise level of a gunshot in the house. Bo asks Billie how she could lie to him and Hope about the baby. She claims that Hope is the reason her baby died. Chasing her to the cliff, Stefano tries to keep Greta from falling but she slips anyway.

Kate thanks Carrie for convincing Mike to allow Lucas to spend some time with his son. She guesses that it will help him recover faster by lifting his spirits. Mike confides to Kate that he thinks Lucas is troubled by something he's keeping inside him. Running into Sami and Austin at the mall, Eric reveals that he has decided not to sign a new contract with Titan because Kate fired Sami. Sami urges him to forget about what Kate did to her and keep his job. He finally relents. Marlena argues with John about what he can expect from Greta. She suggests that the mystery woman from the bayou may be one of Stefano's pawns. John disagrees and claims that Greta could be the key to finally uncovering his missing past.

Austin complains to Carrie about the bad press that Sami is getting now. When she asks how he can justify her killing Franco, Austin stands up for Sami. After releasing him, Mike confides to Lucas that he finds it hard to believe that Sami could have killed Franco. Lucas suggests to Mike that Sami doesn't want to heal and points out that Sami poisoned Austin's mind against him. He considers confessing to Franco's murder but Kate interrupts before he can. Seeing the newspaper photo of her slapping Vivian, Sami accuses Kate of arranging for the photographer to be there to snap photos of her. Sami then threatens to tell all if she goes to prison because then she has nothing to lose by exposing Kate's past.

Stefano watches John on the monitor and tells himself that he will use John if he's forced to do so. When Wayne and Earl report their failure again to grab Greta and take her out of town, Stefano is furious with them. He then eyes John and Hope's memory discs and decides to transfer Hope again and turn her into Gina to destroy the Brady family. Hope confirms for Bo what Greta told him about Billie's baby. When Bo talks about their future, Hope admits that she's going to need time before they can consider a future together. When Billie explains to Roman the lies she told about her baby, he's feels bad for her but finds it hard to forgive her. Lucas confides in Kate that he's planning to start dating Nicole.

Eric suggests to Carrie and Austin that it's nice to see them having a successful relationship, one without secrets. Carrie sadly comments that no relationship is perfect. She later confides to Austin that she'd like to get pregnant now so they can start their family. Stefano is upset when he reads the papers Vivian signed and realizes that she gave John her Power of Attorney. Rolf makes things worse for Stefano when he updates him on the satellite and states that it is not in position to make Hope turn into Gina. Taylor gives Nicole her money back and claims that she and their mother don't want her help. Taylor boasts to her sister that she wouldn't trade places with her for all the money in the world.

Spotting an injured child on the ground after ho was hit by a car, Austin rushes him to the hospital. The boy's parents thank Austin profulely after the doctors report that their son will be fine. Carrie discovers that Mike cared for her secretly for a long time but ho states that Austin is a good man to her so they should to forgot about their feelings for one another. Carrie's impressed as she watches the boys' parents thank Austin again for being a hero. Celeste points out to Vivian the push-button divice she found in Stefeno's desk. Celeste presses the button on Stefeno's remote control divice but fails to notice how Vivian is reacting. Hoping to convince her to give him her power of Attorney, Stefeno's warns Vivian that John is intruding in her life because of the hate John has for him.

Jonesy appears as a ghost to Vivian again and warns her specifically not to sign anything over to Stefano. Rolf admits to Stefano that he can't guarantee that Vivian will be okay after their experiment is finished. John and Celeste stop by for a visit with Vivian. John grabs Stefano by the throat and demands to know what he plans to do to Vivian Celeste looks for a pen to use and finds the remote control device in Stefano's desk drawer. Hope complains to Greta that Billie will always blame her for the death of her baby Greta urges Hope to stop blaming herself. Kate lectures Bo about the pain he has caused Billie and asks him why he has decided to remain married to Billie when it's obvious that he doesn't love her.

Kate tries to talk some sense into Billie about Bo and suggests that she get some professional help to end her infatuation with the man. Later, Billie meets with Wayne and Earl secretly in the garage and asks them to handle the burying of her baby's casket. When Hope runs off, Bo decides that he has to talk with Billie. He stops by the house but Kate claims that she is not home. He spots a light on in the garage and heads out there, unaware that Billie is with Wayne and Earl. Anxious to get back with Eric, Nicole signs her new modeling contract without reading it. Taylor is about to tell Eric the truth about her sister but Nicole interrupts and Eric is called away.

After revealing that Sami has been fired, Kate tells Nicole that she's impressed with Nicole's work and tells her that if she and Eric keep their noses clean, they can keep their jobs. Nicole then calls her mother. Eric accuses Taylor of coming clean to him only because Nicole told him the truth about their relationship. Mike explains to Ali that he is interested in a relationship only with her. He then kisses her. At the Cheatin' Heart, Carrie plays pool with Nancy and confesses that she upset Mike when she complained as if she was a jealous girlfriend. Nancy comments that she is making too much out of this. Ali brings Mike to the Cheatin' Heart to shoot some pool.
