Seeing Kate react to Vivian's strange mood swing, Roman points out that she seems to get a lot out of other people's misfortunes. Kate defends her actions and reminds him that Vivian sabotaged her pilot and almost cost her her life Kate orders the Penthouse Grill manager to make sure that Vivian is not allowed in the restaurant anymore. When Vivian asks Stefano what's wrong with her, he claims that he thinks she might be suffering from some kind of dementia. He later overhears Vivian talking to her dead husband and comes up with another idea to further his plan to ruin Vivian. Vivian confides to Stefano that her father was sent to a sanitarium after suffering from dementia.

Lucas confides to Taylor that Nicole has been great with his rehabilitation and boasts that she can inspire anyone. Lucas then notices that Taylor is interested in Eric. Nicole finally confides to Eric that Taylor is her sister. Ali denies to Carrie that there is anything more than kissing going on between her and Mike but Carrie still claims that Ali is trying to get close to Mike because of the head nurse position. Mike later confides to Carrie that he has feelings and doesn't want to be alone anymore. Austin questions Kate about why she's so concerned that Sami forget certain things. John and Marlena spot Roman and Billie at the Penthouse Grill acting very chummy.

Nancy tells Ali that she can trust her and Craig to keep her relationship with Mike a secret. Carrie talks up to them how impressed the board was with the speech she wrote for Mike. Hope and Bo discuss the concept of Roman working with Billie. Bo suggests that Greta may hold secret the clue that could tell them everything they want to know about the past. He promises Hope that they will never be apart again. surprised to find Roman snooping, Billie lies to him about why she was in the garage. Roman urges Billie to forget about Hope and move on with her life. After more conversation, Roman and Billie share a passionate kiss. Stefano warns Vivian about going after Kate without taking the time to think things through.

Kate advises Austin not to turn Sami into a martyr and adds that she is certainly not a saint. Sami confronts Kate about Franco's death and guesses that she knows so much about the shooting that she must have been there when it happened. An upset Billie asks Henderson to remove the crate from the room. She then orders a snooping Hope to get out. Roman defends Billie to Bo when he talks about Hope. Wayne and Earl follow Hope in hopes that she will lead them to Greta. Hope suggests to Roman that there is something strange going on at Billie's house and mentions the crate that was delivered. Roman decides to see for himself. Billie calls Erlene and learns about the storm that unearthed the casket.

Sami begs Kate not to fire her from Titan for the sake of the family. She reminds her that she paid for her bail and this might make her look bad in the eyes of the court. Sami then wonders to herself how far Kate might go to get revenge. Hope accuses Billie of pretending to see Wayne and Earl at the Pub window. Billie again blames Hope for the death of her baby causing Hope to suggest that she stop living in the past. Finding a crate at her door, Billie assumes it has to do with the cosmetics company and is rocked when she opens the box and sees the tiny casket inside. Apologizing for hurting Eric, Nicole explains to Roman that she never expected to be caught in a lie that she told to protect herself from the past.

Greta dreams of being with Father John when she was a little girl. Awake, she explains to Bo and Hope that she was raised by a nanny because her mother was always traveling. She adds that she doesn't want to leave town now because she would like to remain close to Father John. Though John's excited about finding out all he can from Greta, Marlena worries that Greta's arrival could trigger something from the past that could hurt John. Craig calls John and asks to see him. Upset to see the custody papers, Lucas fears that he has lost everything now and has nothing to live for. when he tries to see will in his room, the nurse won't allow him in. Trying to keep her job at Titan, Nicole confides in Sami that she lied to Eric and wants to make things right with him.

Lexie accuses Mike of being in love with Carrie and suggests that she is in love with him too. She warns him that he must deal with his feelings before it's too late. Carrie boasts to Nancy that she saw Ali's name on the list of nurses to be considered for the head nurse position. Secretly pleased, Nancy assures her that Mike will do the right thing. Carrie decides to keep an eye on Ah because she doesn't trust her. Craig is with Ah when Mike calls to give her the good news that she's up for the head nursing job. Hope learns from Greta that she looks like her mother Gina but Gina died 8 years ago before the explosion. She then reveals that when her mother died, she was in a boarding school and didn't get to attend her mother's funeral.

Rolf assures a worried Stefano that even if John meets Greta, he's not going to recognize her. Wayne and Earl fly back to Salem on Stefano's jet. When they arrive, they head for the Brady Pub. Looking through the window of the Pub, Bo points out to Greta who everyone is inside. Greta runs into the place and quickly hugs John. She asks him if he is still a priest. Taken aback, John asks her what she knows about him. Everyone listens carefully as Greta reveals that her mother was Princess Gina. Carrie and Mike work together on his next speech. Ali calls Mike and ruins the moment for Carrie Austin arrives next to pick up Carrie and the two head back to their place where they make love.

Ali feeds Mike strawberries in bed but he's forced to leave their "love nest" and return to work. Craig calls Ali who boasts of the incredible night she had with Mike. She mentions Mike's statement that she would make a great head nurse. Carrie daydreams of kissing Mike after his exciting speech. Mike arrives and finds her at work already. Stefano confronts Wayne and Earl and asks them to come with him back to Salem to grab Greta and bring her back to the bayou where she belongs. Their mother notices the damage done by the tornado and finds Billie's baby's grave site uncovered. She tells Wayne and Earl that they should take the casket back to Billie.

Greta explains to Hope that she reminds her of someone but she can't remember who that person is. At Brady's, Bo updates Shawn about Greta and hints that he'd like to invite her to a family dinner. Stefano and Bart eavesdrop on Wayne and Earl as they enter the catacombs. When they mention the swamp girl and Bo, Stefano realizes that Greta is alive and worries that she'll meet Hope. At the Pub when John, Marlena and Abe discuss Stefano in front of Lexie, she insists that Stefano is a changed man. Roman and Billie arrive arm-in-arm together. Roman announces that Sami has changed her mind about pleading guilty. Lexie tells Abe that she owes her father some respect.

Craig talks with Rose, the retiring head nurse about recommending Ali as her replacement. Nancy hears that Carrie knows about Mike and Ali's dinner plans tonight and encourages Ali to use the time wisely. She puts into Carrie's mind the idea that Ali might be dating Mike just to move ahead with her career. When Sami changes her mind about pleading guilty, Mickey promises to do all he can during her trial. Sami later argues with Lucas again about the custody of Will and shows him the guardianship papers as proof that she won't allow him near Will. Upset with her, Lucas struggles to his feet and tries to walk but falls and hurts himself. Austin is furious with what Sami is doing and lets her know.

Vivian is furious when Ivan leaks John and Marlena's feeling that she should be admitted to the hospital for more testing. When she imagines wearing a diamond necklace while looking into a storefront mirror, Ivan points out that she is hallucinating again and really should get some help. Instead, Stefano convinces Vivian to leave town with Celeste to enjoy a special "rejuvenating" program in France. He then calls Rolf and learns that the mystery girl could still be alive. Upset, Stefano announces that they must find her and "take care of her." Eric is surprised to find Taylor working at the hospital now, helping Lucas with his rehabilitation. Maggie encourages Lucas to stop his drinking.

Carrie wonders aloud in front of Mike why she isn't interested in starting a family if she really loves Austin. She insists that she loves will but adds that the child belongs to Lucas, not Austin. She finally states that she wants to give her job a chance before she gets pregnant. Earning college credit, Taylor ends up working at the hospital in the rehab department and is assigned Lucas as her first patient. When he's reluctant to do as she asks, she suggests that he do this for his son. Kate's thrilled when Lucas is able to walNc to her. Kate hints to her son that she thinks she has talked Sami into pleading guilty to avoid a trial. Roman explains to Billie about the shooting which cost Franco his life and has sent Sami to jail.
