Tawny reaches Amber at Mannequins and warns her that Becky is at the guest house now with the baby and could recognize the birthmark on the baby's bottom. After she panics, C.J. wanders over and asks what's the matter. She forces him to drive her home without saying goodbye to Rick or Kimberly. Rick's surprised when Amber calls to report that she's hurrying home to greet Becky. Kimberly points out that she left her purse and becomes curious of her rival's actions. After Rick downplays what has happened, the two decide to remain behind for dessert and start enjoying their time together. Meanwhile, Becky guesses to Stephanie that Rick Jr. looks like a Moore, not a Forrester. When C.J. pulls up, Amber rushes out of the car which makes C.J. guess that she is hiding another secret from Rick.

Kimberly's embarrassed when Amber talks about how great a couple she and C.J. make. When C.J. makes a remark about her "hot bod," Rick watches as Kimberly squirms in her seat and insists that she and C.J. are just friends. C.J. claims that they just want to have fun together which causes Amber to toast to the "happy couple." Thrilled with how the dinner is going, Amber is suddenly somber when Rick mentions that their baby has Forrester and Moore blood in him. Eric is caught off guard when Becky greets him with the name "grandfather." She introduces herself to Stephanie and Eric as Amber's cousin and mentions Amber's ability to surprise everyone. When she asks to see the baby, Tawny calls and gets her niece to the phone.

Thorne is taken aback when Brooke confesses that she is falling in love with him. She makes things worse when she accuses him of having similar feelings for her. He denies it and reminds her that he is engaged to Macy, the woman he loves so they can't possibly have a future together. Brooke defends her feelings and argues for his love but he continues to deny loving her and walks out. Rick, Amber, C.J. and Kimberly dine at Mannequins. Though Kimberly and Rick remain uncomfortable about the situation, Amber talks about how happy she is with her life and how she hopes that they can all remain good friends. Eric has fun babysitting Rick; Jr. When Stephanie arrives, he confides that he's concerned with how much Rick is going to give up because of his new family at such a young age.

Adam boasts to Sally about the change around the office he's noticed since they've decided to go after Forrester. Macy arrives at the office and asks her parents if they're pleased with what they've done. Adam insists that they and Brooke all know that this is strictly business. Macy eventually agrees it will be good to beat Forrester. When Ridge talks about how fun it will be to tell the family about the twin girls they're expecting, Taylor worries that Brooke is going to be upset by the news. Thorne accuses Brooke of being upset about the charity fashion show because of her feelings for him, not because of the business aspect. Brooke denies it but then is caught off guard when Thorne announces that he and Macy are going to get married right after the fashion show.

Darla's impressed when Clarke talks about how he intends to impress his son by making the best designs he can for the upcoming Spectra showing. Sally and Adam return to the office, laughing about how upset Stephanie and Eric were during dinner. Clarke is shocked by what he hears and forces them to admit what they have done to Forrester. He angrily insists that he would not have come back to Spectra if he knew that they were going to pull this stunt and crash the Forrester fashion show. Sally denies that she's crashing anything and Adam boasts that they are going to win the respect of the world with this showing. Stephanie gives Brooke the bad news that Spectra is going to co-host the upcoming charity fashion show.

Stephanie calls Sally a "bitch" while Eric tells Trevor that they will handle this big mistake. Eric then demands that Sally back out of the charity fashion show but Adam refuses. Eric then threatens to sue them but when he realizes that they can't, he decides that Forrester will back out of the event. Adam smirks at what that will look like to the public. Macy angrily confronts her father with what he has done and tells him that they cannot take over the Forrester showing. Thorne suggests a compromise but neither set of parents is interested. After they storm off, Macy and Thorne are amazed at their childish actions and start laughing. Staring at the monitor for the ultrasound, Dr. Wilson informs Taylor and Ridge that she is pregnant with twin girls.

Sally takes Adam aside after he slips up and almost leaks about their involvement in the charity fashion show. Meanwhile, Macy comments to Thorne, Stephanie and Eric that it's remarkable that Forrester and Spectra can be together at one table. Eric states that it won't get much past that point because of their history and reminds her that Spectra once stole their designs. Thorne tries to defend his future wife but Macy insists that they are on the up-and-up now. When Adam and Sally return to the table, Macy asks her mother when Spectra's fashion show will take place. Sally tries to head her off but when the others pester them for an answer, Macy manages to change the subject. However, Trevor McEvoy arrives and when he sees them, stops by their table and shows Stephanie the invitation to the Pediatric AIDS Fashion Benefit.

Eric complains to Stephanie about attending a dinner with a man like Adam. She reminds him that he is Macy's father but Eric resents the man's statements about their parenting abilities. Stephanie claims that she feels she owes it to Macy to try to make things work but Eric suggests that Macy needs to understand that it's possible that her parents and in-laws may never be friends. Meanwhile, Sally argues with Adam about the plans for tonight's dinner with the Forrester and insists that he not mention their involvement in the charity fashion show. Sally's caught off-guard when she finds Adam changing into his clothes for the dinner in her office. Brooke tries to work at the office but can't stop thinking about Thorne.

Adam flirts with Sally in the office and reminds her of the many times they shared a little romance there. She isn't interested and reminds him that a lot has happened since he left her. Trying to talk business with her, Ridge notices Brooke's mind is elsewhere and guesses that she's thinking about the new man in her life. She refuses to say who he is. Thorne interrupts which causes Brooke to take her leave. Ridge presses Thorne for the name of Brooke's new love interest but Thorne claims that he didn't think it was that important. Ridge warns that Brooke's obviously infatuated with him. After Ridge is called away, Brooke returns and is surprised when Thorne states that they need to talk about their relationship.

Kimberly's caught off guard when C.J. brings her to Macy's place on the beach. She worries that Macy will find them there but C.J. boasts that Macy's busy with her boyfriend next door. The two admit that they have feelings for each other but as they kiss, Kimberly turns on the passion when she imagines she's kissing Rick. Tawny bursts into her trailer and stops Becky from looking at the photo of Rick and Amber's new baby. Tilly is suspicious but Tawny claims she is tired and asks them to go home. Tawny then faces Sarah who demands to know what is going on. Tawny reveals that Becky can now recognize her baby because of the birthmark on his bottom. She enlists her help in keeping this secret. Sarah worries about the criminal charges she could face if the secret comes out.

Rick is thrilled when Thorne surprises him with a surfboard, custom-made in Hawaii. Seeing Macy and Thorne getting ready to leave, Brooke intrudes and suggests that Thorne stay awhile longer to enjoy the party. Macy states that she and Thorne are heading home to their own party. Eric congratulates Amber on a successful party but when she boasts that she was trying to pull the Forrester family together, Ridge interrupts and claims that she has done the opposite. After badmouthing all that she has done to the family, Ridge leaves but Stephanie encourages Amber to realize that she did a great thing for Rick Tawny calls Becky and Tilly in hopes of stopping them from looking at the photos of the baby. When that fails, she rushes out after forcing Kimberly to take care of the baby.

As Amber's party for Rick continues, Thorne spots Brooke and has trouble taking his eyes off her. Macy sees her smiling and claims that Brooke needs to find a man as good as Thorne. Kimberly bumps into Rick finally and when she agrees to dance with him, Amber interrupts and takes her husband to the dance floor. C.J. manages to cheer up Kimberly after her run-in with Amber. Tawny surprises Amber and the others when she finally shows. Seeing Kimberly, Tawny suggests that she bring out the baby to meet her rival. When she does, Amber introduces her to the crowd and Tawny embarrasses her with a speech about how well her daughter has done. Tilly asks Becky for help sorting through the photos Tawny asked her to place in a photo album but Becky complains that Amber doesn't think they are good enough to attend her party.

Kimberly runs into Rick at the Insomnia and admits that she is still upset that he decided to stay with Amber in spite of her deceit. He urges her to forget about him and get on with her life. However, when Kimberly boasts that she's gone out with C.J. a few times, Rick reacts to the news. When Clarke enters his office, Eric blasts him for quitting to go to the competition. Clarke claims that it was Stephanie who helped him make his decision and she confirms that C.J. needs his father right now. When Brooke hears the shocking news, she reminds him that he's under contract. Stating that his contract ended a month ago, a teary-eyed Clark thanks them for the opportunity they gave him but insists that he must do this because he sees it as his once last chance to win his son's trust.

Taylor discusses with Ridge Macy's decision to postpone giving Thorne an answer to his marriage proposal. When she suggests they go see Thorne, Ridge nixes the idea. Meanwhile, Brooke refuses to leave Thorne and suggests they enjoy the evening together. After pouring themselves another round of drinks, Thorne laughs when Brooke hints that she's going to help him relax. Thorne takes up the challenge and suggests that they go for a late-night swim in the ocean, sans clothing. Brooke laughs at the idea of going skinny dipping but when Thorne quickly strips and heads to the surf, she tosses away her clothes and runs into the water. After they swim, the two kiss again. Angry th at her father is insulting Thorne, Macy asks Adam if he's willing to sacrifice his daughter's happiness just to further the hatred he has for the Forrester family.
