C.J. stops by Amber and Rick's place and compliments Amber on her new home. He also admits that she looks different to him. she thanks him for getting her to the Insomnia so that he could stop Raymond from telling Rick the truth about her pregnancy. C.J. tries to get her to face the fact that she may have to tell Rick one day and she better be prepared for whatever happens. Rick's surprised to find Myles worried about his missing daughter. when Macy and sally arrive, Rick realizes the truth when Macy calls Myles "daddy." Macy and Myles explain their relationship to Rick~ and confess that Kimberly ran away after they told her that Macy was her step-sister. Rick offers to help and starts making some phone calls to his friends.

Ridge sets up a romantic scene at the beach house and entices Taylor to join him in front of a fire for a sensuous massage. When she admits that she's breathing easier now that Brooke is out of his life, Ridge claims it just proves that people can change. She wonders aloud if Brooke will ever change her attitude towards Rick's marriage. Eric surprises Brooke at her place and learns that she had a dinner date with Pierce. She confides that it was an enjoyable evening but she couldn't stop thinking about Rick and Amber. Eric boasts that he saw Amber with Rick tonight and was amazed in the effort Amber took to be a lady. He then admits that he saw Rick kiss Amber and thinks Rick was also impressed by the change in his wife. Brooke guesses that Amber was putting on an act causing Eric to urge her to reach out to Amber by offering to be in the delivery room with her when her baby is born.

After Rick kisses her passionately, Amber explains that this is the way she hoped their first week of marriage would be. As Eric and Lauren sneak a peak at them, Rick takes Amber to the dance floor where they hold close and dance to a slow song. When Rick spots his father dining with Lauren, he escorts Amber to their table. Amber invites them to come by for dinner later in the week. Impressed with the change in her, Eric accepts the dinner invitation and calls her a young lady. She thanks him for the compliment and Eric hugs her. Amber later thanks Rick for the most wonderful night of her life. Dining on his balcony, Brooke asks Pierce how he is able to stay so positive in life, especially since he must be hurting because of Taylor.

Rick is surprised to see the "new" Amber and is amazed when she quietly asks him how his day went. Talking about school, Rick states that he is willing to forget about his classes for the sake of their child but she assures him that she can handle taking care of the child and their house while he is studying. As she talks, Rick remarks that he notices something different about her. Amber reveals that Lauren loaned her the new dress and gave her some advice on how to be a lady. Lauren convinces Eric to have dinner with her at the Cafe Russe. He's caught off guard to see a changed Amber dining with Rick. After he expresses his displeasure at being tricked like this, Eric also doubts Lauren's claim that Amber is a different woman than the one Rick~ dined with some seven months ago.

Macy explains to Thorne that Kimberly is missing since she learned the truth about their past. He guesses that she might have run to Rick and suggests that she call him. Macy does so and Rick's surprised to hear that they can't find Kimberly. Amber confides to Lauren how miserable she feels because she isn't sophisticated. She offers for example, her latest date with Rick at the cafe Russe where she grabbed Rick's butt while on the dance floor. When Lauren brings out some petit fours for tea, Amber grabs the biggest one and starts chowing down. Lauren reacts to her eating and starts her lesson in the art of tea. Gladys the hairdresser interrupts and sits Amber down to re-do her hair and makeup. Lauren's pleased with the results while Amber is shocked.

At Mannequins, Thorne runs into Ridge as they pay their bills for their dinners. They're both shocked when they spot Taylor and Brooke embracing. Meanwhile, in tears, Brooke apologizes to Taylor for the way she's been acting and admits that she's ashamed. In spite of the way she feels, she also defends her actions based on her feelings for Ridge. Taylor assures her that she understands and appreciates what she has told her. Taylor then leaves with Ridge. Darla stops by Lauren's house and listens in awe as Lauren describes the big confrontation with Kimberly that is taking place at sally's house. Both wonder how the teenager will handle the news about her father. Coming to, Kimberly confronts her father about his big lie and tries to get him to take it back.

Thorne calms down an upset Brooke as she turns away from Ridge and Taylor at Mannequins and encourages her to face the man she can't have. He urges her to accept the fact that Ridge is happy being married to Taylor. Taylor announces to Ridge that the doctor confirmed her pregnancy and adds that the unborn baby is fine and should arrive around Christmas. Ridge leaves to pay the bill at the same time Thorne does. Brooke approaches Taylor and catches her off guard when she tells her rival that she finally realizes that Ridge is truly happy being with Taylor. She promises never to come between them again and the two embrace. When Myles threatens to go out to the living room to see what is going on, Sally stops him and asks him to give Macy the respect she deserves.

While Macy and Myles wait anxiously in Macy's bedroom, Sally starts questioning Kimberly about her life and she talks about how special her father is and how much her mother loved Myles. Sally then explains that her husband and Macy's father left them a long time ago. However, before she can tell Kimberly the truth, she excuses herself and confides to Myles and Macy how difficult a time she is having telling Kimberly about Myles. Macy announces that she wants to be the person to tell Kimberly that they are sisters. She enters the living room where a confused Kimberly asks her what's going on. Kimberly then asks Macy if she has started dating her father. Taylor surprises Ridge in his office and the two start kissing passionately.

With Macy sneaking a listen from her bedroom, Myles does his best to convince Sally that Macy needs them to be a family right now if she will only allow them to be together. Macy enters and reveals that Kimberly is hurting right now because her mother is dead. Saying she needs their support, Macy finally convinces her to give it a chance. Kimberly arrives and Sally orders Macy and Myles to go to Macy's bedroom so she can talk to the teen alone. Sensing that something has caught Amber's attention, Brooke warns that her past could catch up with her. Amber assures Brooke that she is going to make Rick happy.

Rick runs into Kimberly at the Insomnia. When he points out that she has been crying, she asks him to ignore her. When he refuses to leave, she confesses that she's been thinking about her mother and how much she misses her right now. Rick promises her that things will get better for her. She asks him to hold her and he quickly embraces her. C.J. argues with Raymond about telling Rick the truth about Amber's unborn baby. As they talk, the two spot Rick with Kimberly and C.J. reveals who she is and what she means to Rick More determined than ever, Raymond approaches Rick and announces he has to tell him something. Myles confounds sally when he admits that he still has feelings for her. She guesses that he only feels guilty about leaving her and Macy but he insists that he needs her in his life right now.

Macy approaches her mother again about reuniting the family and urges her to forgive Myles and let the bitterness she feels go away. Kimberly pouts to her father that she misses her mother at a time like this. He assures her that she can talk to him but she claims it's not the same. Myles admits that he wishes he could bring her back for her but Kimberly collapses into his arms, asking him why she had to die. Macy calls and interrupts, asking him to hurry over. Myles arrives and asks Macy to leave him alone with Sally. Macy then calls Kimberly and, hearing that she is depressed, consoles her by stating that she is not alone. Stephanie approaches Brooke and gloats that Taylor is pregnant. She orders Brooke to leave Ridge alone.

Determined to get her family reunited, Macy visits with Sally and announces her decision. Insisting that she wants nothing to do with Myles, sally warns her daughter that she's making a big mistake by allowing her father to be a part of her life. Macy argues on behalf of her father and pleads with her mother to change her mind. An upset Pierce arrives at Brooke's and finds her crying. He reveals that he has also learned that Taylor is pregnant again and suggests that they can help each other get through this pain and disappointment. Brooke moans that she's not sure what to do now that she realizes that Ridge is not going to be part of her future. Pierce advises her that the best way to deal with the pain she is feeling is to recognize it, embrace it and then allow it to subside naturally.

Pleased to see Kimberly run out of their new home, Amber offers Rick some sparkling cider and toasts to their new life and their new home. She then flirts with him and invites him to join her in the bedroom. Rick reminds her that she almost suffered a miscarriage only a short time ago and suggests that they curtail any bedroom activity for now. Amber claims she can handle it if he is gentle with her. While Amber waits, Rick takes out Kimberly's letter and re-reads it. Amber is shocked back to reality when a Raymond song comes on the radio in the bedroom. She quickly shuts the radio off and worries that this is a bad sign about her baby. Kimberly runs to C.J. and complains about Rick marrying Amber. C.J. hints that all may not be lost.

Thorne visits with Macy at her place and she admits that she's feeling good thanks to his wonderful kiss earlier. After Thorne complains about Myles butting into their relationship, Macy admits her feeling that Kimberly should be told that they are sisters. Though Myles has asked to wait before she is told, Macy decides that she can't wait any longer, especially after seeing the pain she is suffering because of Rick. Brooke argues with Stephanie about allowing Rick and Amber to move into the Forrester guest house. She tells Stephanie to stay out of her son's marriage. As they argue, Brooke notices that Amber is staring through the window into the guest house. Just then, Amber bursts in and interrupts a pouting Kimberly and Rick.

C.J. brings Raymond to see Amber in Sally's office and the three try to convince her to tell Rick the truth. She refuses and walks out. Taylor arrives at the beach house in a terrible mood and explains to Ridge that her meeting with Pierce went terribly. She admits that she started to tell him she was pregnant but he first admitted that he loved her. She ended their meeting by announcing that she couldn't work for him anymore. Ridge comforts her but is pleased that she won't be working with Pierce anymore. He then shows her a t-shirt for Thomas to wear embroidered with the words "I'm the big brother" on the front. He admits that he's thrilled she's pregnant and is looking forward to being with her throughout her pregnancy. Kimberly rushes to the guest house in hopes that Rick has some good news for her.
