Offering her a hug, Ridge tries to comfort Brooke who complains about her son being married to Amber. Taylor interrupts and asks to speak with her husband. When Brooke refuses to leave, Taylor announces to both of them that she has confirmed that she is pregnant. Ridge is thrilled and congratulates her. Meanwhile, Brooke stares in disbelief. She finally offers her congratulations and then leaves. Myles confronts Sally at her place and reveals how Rick Forrester hurt his daughter. He worries that Thorne might do the same thing to Macy. Sally's not impressed and reminds him that Macy is a grown woman who can handle her own life. Myles refuses to back off however. Macy stops by Thorne's beach house and updates him on her attempts to reconcile Sally and her father.

Sally arrives at Spectra and complains to Darla about the embarrassing situation at Rick's wedding. Darla urges her to tell Rick the truth but Sally refuses and suggests that Raymond is the only person now who can help Rick. As the wedding reception gets underway at the Forrester mansion, Brooke tries to keep calm as she stews over Rick's decision to marry Amber. When Rick and Amber finally arrive, Rick thanks everyone for their support today. Stephanie offers them a toast to the success of their marriage. Amber takes C.J. out to the foyer ad confronts him about the problem with Sally. Raymond interrupts their argument and orders her to tell Rick about the baby. Stephanie interrupts and Amber manages to send Raymond away. After Eric toasts to his son and his new bride, Amber says a few words and wishes aloud that they all learn to accept her in their lives.

When Amber angrily orders Sally to go home, she refuses and takes her wedding dress from her as she boasts that she is there to give Rick the truth about her pregnancy. Amber pleads with her for the sake of her unborn baby to allow her marry Rick so that this baby will have a wonderful family for support. Sally isn't moved by her plea. As family and friends arrive at the chapel, Eric assures Brooke that he is fine. He then greets Lauren who asks how he is feeling. He admits that he was touched when Rick asked him to be his best man. After she hands him a letter she wrote for Rick; C.J. brings Kimberly to the chapel and asks Rick for a moment of his time. He hands him the letter and Rick reads Kimberly's wishes for happiness and fulfillment in his marriage.

Dressed for his wedding today, Rick apologizes to his father and thanks him for helping him deal with his mistake. He admits that he's learned how to be a great father from him and asks him to be his best man. Eric agrees. C.J. tries to stop his mother from telling Rick about Raymond but she insists it's the right thing to do. She remarks that she must not have raised him right if he treats his best friend this way. When Kimberly calls C.J. and asks him to escort her to the wedding, Sally uses the opportunity to try to get to Rick As she dresses for the wedding, Amber argues with a vision of Raymond about whether she is carrying Rick or Raymond's baby. Stephanie interrupts with some encouraging words regarding the Forrester family and how well they handle a crisis.

Amber wakes and realizes it's her wedding day. She's all smiles until she remembers the confrontation with Raymond last night. Meanwhile, Rick wakes with a decidedly different outlook as he realizes he's getting married at a very early age. Brooke greets her son and downplays his concern that his mistake has affected her. She assures him that he can always come to her if he ever has a problem. Rick apologizes for putting her through this mess. Kimberly complains to her father that today is Rick's wedding day. He urges her to get over Rick Sally finds her son is still unable to sleep and demands to know what is wrong. C.J. tries to evade the question but finally comes clean and reveals that Amber may be carrying someone else's baby.

Eric and Stephanie meet with Jonathan about Rick's wedding plans. The attorney shows them a document he's drawn up to help protect Rick and his assets should the marriage fall apart. In front of C.J., Amber insists to Raymond that she is getting married tomorrow in spite of the fact that she might be carrying his baby. C.J. suggests that she postpone the wedding until she can be sure but Amber refuses. C.J. then warns her what the consequences will be once the baby is born and seen to be Raymond's. As they argue, Stephanie arrives. Amber introduces Raymond to her and then quickly hurries them out of the mansion. Stephanie is surprised to hear that Amber bowed out of the wedding rehearsal. At the chapel Kimberly cries as Rick apologizes for what he is going to do.

While Brooke worries that there is nothing they can do to stop Rick from marrying Amber, Ridge guesses that Kimberly is the only person who can help now. At the chapel, after a praying Rick asks for a sign, Kimberly arrives and prays for guidance herself. The two are surprised to find each other there. Rick confesses that he was praying for strength to go through with the wedding. He adds that once he saw her, he felt strong enough to do what he feels he must do. However, he also admits that he's not sure if he should marry Amber. C.J. drives Darla and Raymond bacNc to L.A. in hopes of reaching Amber before the wedding. When they arrive at the Forrester mansion, they confront Amber as she prepares to leave for the wedding rehearsal. She calls Rick to explain that she can't make it to the chapel.

C.J. explains to Raymond that Amber doesn't know who fathered her baby but is so sick in love with Rick that she wants him to be the father. He sheepishly admits that the night after Raymond was with Amber, Rick kissed and made up with Amber. Raymond offers his phone number and suggests that Amber call him after the baby is born but C.J. wants him to talk to Amber about her baby. Raymond finally agrees to go back to L.A. to talk with Amber. Kimberly is surprised when Amber shows up at her door. She explains that she wants to talk about what they were arguing about before she suffered her fall. Kimberly apologizes for everything she said but Amber takes the time to defend herself and her love for Rick.

Amber worries when James leaks that Stephanie has gone to Brooke's place for a family meeting. She boasts that while her childhood was terrible, she intends to give her and Rick's son the best childhood a boy could ever want. Rick interrupts with the news that Brooke signed the consent agreement. Brooke is rude when Stephanie greets her. Ridge arrives and Eric announces that they have decided to sign the consent form so that Rick and Amber can tie the knot. When Ridge voices his displeasure, Eric explains that Rick threatened to leave town if he didn't sign. Stephanie warns that the two are getting married tomorrow no matter what but Ridge hints that he won't be there. Eric states that he expects everyone to be there. Stephanie upsets Brooke further by revealing that Amber has asked her to be her matron of honor and she has agreed.

Staring at a photo of her with Ridge, Brooke moans that she can't be with the man she loves. Rick and Eric interrupt with an update on what happened to Amber at the hospital. Rick then shows his mother the consent form that Eric signed. When Brooke assumes Rick forged the signature, Eric steps up and announces that he signed the document. Rick mentions that they learned Amber is having a boy and they've decided to name him Eric Forrester III. A nervous Amber convinces Stephanie to be her matron of honor and then hopes that Brooke will sign the consent form. Stephanie explains that Brooke won't sign the paper just because Eric did and adds that she's not planning on telling Brooke about being her matron of honor.

Rick finally gets through to his father when he explains that he wants to be there for his son, more than Eric was for him. When Stephanie orders Amber to stop snooping on Eric and Rick's chat, Amber presses Stephanie for an answer as to whether she'll be her matron of honor. Stephanie puts her off for awhile and urges her to be prepared to accept Eric's decision. When Rick returns with his father, Eric announces that he has decided to sign the consent form. Amber is thrilled and again asks Stephanie to be her matron of honor. Kimberly updates Myles on what happened to Amber at the house and the trip to the hospital. Myles urges her to forget about Rick but she refuses and confesses that she's in love with him. Myles urges his daughter to move on since Rick's going to marry Amber.

C.J. escorts Kimberly back to her house and assures her that if she needs someone to talk to or be with her, just call him and he'll hurry right over. As he leaves, Kimberly tells C.J. that she admires him. Back at the office, C.J. is tormented with the dilemma of what to do about the possible paternity of Amber's baby. Darla interrupts his thinking and shows him an article in the paper about Raymond's concert in town. Convincing him to take her into his confidence, Darla is shocked by the possibility that Raymond may have impregnated Amber and urges C.J. to tell his friend the truth. Eric is obviously affected when Amber boasts that she's having a boy they intend to name Eric. She then plays her trump card by claiming that the doctors have ordered her to reduce the stress in her life and she thinks marrying Rick as soon as possible would be following doctor's orders.

With a curious C.J. waiting nearby, Amber presses her doctor to perform another ultrasound test to see if he can determine the paternity of her unborn baby. Surprised by the question, he forces her to admit that there may be another person responsible for her pregnancy. The doctor explains that the machine is not capable of doing such a thing and urges her to sit down with him and the two fathers to determine what should be done. Amber refuses and boasts that she is almost 100 percent certain that Rick is the real father. The doctor pushes Amber to tell Rick the truth. Outside the hospital room, Rick reacts to Kimberly's confession of love by admitting that while he does care about Amber, he doesn't love her like he does Kimberly. The two return to Amber's room only to find Amber shooing the doctor out and then Kimberly.

In the hospital Amber thanks Kimberly for being there for her. She admits that she's been surprised by how nice Kimberly has acted towards her. When Rick arrives, Amber explains how she fell at Kimberly's place and that there might be a problem with her uterus. The doctor arrives with the ultrasound equipment and after examining her, pronounces the baby in good shape. He then asks them if they want to know the sex of their unborn baby. Eric confides to Lauren that he remains troubled by his son's demand that he sign the consent form so Rick and Amber can legally tie the knot. She offers to take him out for a night on the town to take his mind off his troubles but he claims he can't go. Before dinner is served, Macy confides to Myles that she's concerned about her mother.

Myles arrives at Sally's for Macy's dinner party and compliments Sally on her place. When he mentions that he knew she would do well for herself, Sally makes a snide remark and walks away. Over drinks, Macy shows Myles some old photos she found while Sally nurses her drink from across the room. Myles starts to tell stories about Macy's first year and Macy remarks that Sally seems to have changed a great deal since then. As they finish baby-proofing the mansion, Stephanie confides in James that she fears Brooke is going to ruin Ridge's marriage. When Brooke refuses to listen to his claim that he doesn't love her, Ridge finally announces that he doesn't want her coming around the beach house anymore and threatens to stop working on the new line if she won't stop bothering him and Taylor.

Sally tries to back out of the dinner plans with Macy and Myles but Macy won't hear it. Brooke stands on the deck of Ridge and Taylor's beach house, crying after seeing them make love. Telling herself that Ridge knows he loves only her, Brooke reminisces on many of the past times she spent with Ridge. Meanwhile, inside, Taylor hints to Ridge that they may have made a baby tonight, thanks to a test she took earlier which showed she was ovulating. When Ridge offers to get her a late-night snack, he leaves the bedroom and spots Brooke outside. He talks with her and she warns him that he's living a lie by staying married to a woman he doesn't love. Ridge tells her that he loves Taylor and he has a new family now and has no plans to leave them.

Taylor continues to accuse Ridge of caring more about Brooke and her testy emotions than he does for the solidity of their marriage. He denies it and insists that he was simply trying to prevent Brooke from being taken advantage of tonight by victor Newman. Fed up, Taylor asks him to tell her honestly that Brooke doesn't mean anything to him. If he can't, then their marriage cannot last. Stephanie argues with Brooke who insists that Ridge marriage is a joke because he should never have divorced her. Stephanie insists that the only reason Ridge's marriage is in trouble is because of Brooke's interference. After Stephanie leaves, Brooke decides to see for herself if Ridge and Taylor's marriage has collapsed because of her efforts tonight. She rushes to the beach house and peaks in the window.
