As they arrive at the Forrester mansion to pick up the baby, Taylor continues to attack Ridge for his actions at the Cafe Russe even as he tries to keep her from telling Stephanie about what happened. Stephanie's not pleased to hear about his interrupting Brooke and victor's dinner. After they take the baby home, Stephanie confronts Brooke at her place and accuses her of planning the entire scene at the restaurant. Brooke denies it and claims that Ridge's actions tonight prove that he loves her and not Taylor. She adds that it's only a matter of time before Ridge leaves Taylor to be with her. Settling the baby down for the night, Ridge and Taylor continue their argument about Brooke. Ridge insists that he was just protecting Brooke from victor but Taylor reminds him that they both promised not to allow Pierce or Brooke to interfere in their marriage.

At the Cafe Russe Taylor fumes as she catches Ridge staring at Brooke and victor. Ridge complains about the way victor is "pawing" at her and calls him an "operator." Meanwhile, Brooke asks Victor for another favor and suggests that a kiss from him would work wonders in bringing Ridge back to her. Victor agrees and kisses her. Ridge sees them locking lips and furiously stands up and rushes to their table where he confronts victor. An amused Victor plays it cool as does Brooke who enjoys seeing Ridge upset by the kiss. Taylor interrupts Ridge's angry outburst and drags her husband away. Brooke thanks victor for his help with Ridge and boasts that she is pleased by how Ridge reacted. Rick worries as he waits for Amber at the Insomnia with C.J.

Victor calls Brooke on the carpet for using him in her little game to snag Ridge. He claims that he would have walked out on her if she wasn't so beautiful and asks why she's playing such games when she's really beneath it. Brooke bemoans that Ridge is the only man from her. When victor describes how Nikki is the only woman he could ever love, Brooke compares her situation to his and urges him to stay and help her get to Ridge by kissing her. when he does so, Ridge and Taylor notice. Ridge guesses that victor is hitting on Brooke but Taylor assumes that Brooke set the whole thing up just to make Ridge jealous. At the Insomnia, C.J. comments to Rick about the "interesting" dinner party last night.

Thanking Stephanie for babysitting again for them, Taylor complains to her about Ridge's overt concern for Brooke now that victor Newman is in town. Stephanie assures her that once they have another child, Ridge will be too busy to even think about Brooke. Donning a sexy outfit to wear for her dinner with Victor, Brooke leaks to Lauren that Jabot is going to make a fragrance for Forrester and then announces that she's going to use victor to make Ridge jealous. Lauren warns her that Victor's not going to appreciate being used this way. Victor enters and escorts Brooke to the cafe Russe where she notices Ridge and Taylor already seated. Victor notices Brooke staring at Ridge and realizes why she brought him there tonight. He warns her that he doesn't appreciate being used this way.

Taylor pays Ridge a visit and finds him worried. He admits that he's concerned about today's meeting between Brooke and Victor. He thinks that Victor's interested in Brooke personally but Taylor reminds him that Brooke can handle herself. Brooke welcomes Victor to her office and explains the bed she set up in her office. He upsets her when he accuses her of using company funds to woo Ridge, a claim that she denies. Eric interrupts and introduces Victor to his son Thorne. Though he admits his concern that Forrester has not researched the idea enough, Victor announces that Jabot will go ahead with the project because he has faith in Brooke. As everyone celebrates, Ridge takes Victor aside and warns him about upsetting Brooke. Brooke is pleased to overhear this and convinces Victor to remain in town for dinner instead of flying back to Genoa City.

As Stephanie presses Taylor for more good news, she asks her daughter-in-law if she might quit worNc now that she and Ridge plan to have another baby. Taylor asks about Brooke's visit and Stephanie warns her not to tell Brooke about their baby plans until she's pregnant because she still has her sights set on Ridge. Stephanie can't believe it when Taylor confesses she already told Pierce. Stewing over the news about Ridge and Taylor's plans to have another baby, Brooke informs Ridge that Victor Newman is coming for a meeting about the Forrester fragrance. She then blurts out that she knows about his decision to have another baby. Ridge is exasperated as Brooke announces her belief that this is wrong and is just another attempt by Taylor to keep from losing him.

Taylor leaks to Stephanie that she and Ridge are planning to have another baby. Stephanie is overjoyed by the news. Meanwhile, Brooke stops by Pierce's place and reveals her confrontation with Stephanie. As she fumes, Pierce warns her that he doesn't think Ridge is worth the aggravation that he causes in her life. Brooke insists that there is no other man for her. She adds that she thinks Pierce feels the same way about Taylor. Taylor interrupts with a call to report that she'll be late for work today. Boasting that she had a wonderful night wit her husband, she also lets it slip that she and Ridge are going to try and have another baby. Obviously rattled, Pierce gives Brooke the terrible news and she becomes furious, guessing that Taylor is doing this just to hold on to Ridge.

At the Private Dining Room, Taylor assures Ridge that she is not pregnant but quickly tells him that she wants to have another child with him. when he asks if she's responding to the problems they've been having, she vents that this has nothing to do with Brooke. He assures her that he does want to add to their family. The two then kiss. Macy follows Myles home and tries to take the blame for sally's rage. Myles won't allow it and sadly reports that he's going to be leaving town. When they hear Kimberly arrive, Myles asks her not to tell his daughter anything. Kimberly enters and admits that she was at a dinner party with Amber and Rick. Myles reminds his daughter that he forbade her from seeing Rick again and states that he's decided that it's time for them to move back to Nantucket.

Due to live coverage of the senate impeachment trial, "The Bold and the Beautiful" did not air on Tuesday, January 19.

Upset by the fight her parents are having, Macy urges her mother to believe that Myles didn't walk out on her but had to leave those many years ago. Sally doesn't believe her or Myles and orders him to get out of her office. Macy pleads with him to stay and talk but Myles leaves. Macy runs after him while Sally cries. Stephanie stops by the beach house and admits to Taylor that she saw everything Pierce was doing at the party and tries to force Taylor to concur that Pierce is obviously in love with her. When asked what she'd going to do to save her troubled marriage, Taylor reveals her plans to take Ridge out for a romantic dinner tonight. Ridge reads Brooke the riot act after confronting her about the little striptease she did for Victor Newman in Genoa City.

While they wait to hear from sally and Myles, Macy talks with Lauren and Darla about the past and shows them photos of her family when she was very young. When she mentions her hope that they can be a family again, Lauren reminds her of the terrible thing her father did to her and her mother. Sally calls Myles a coward for running out on them which sets him off. He boasts that he left to protect them because of the loan trouble. He admits that he testified against the loan shark to save their neck but had to leave town afterwards. She asks why he never let them know where he was. When she asks what he's been doing, Myles claims to have suffered also but adds that he married and had another daughter. Sally is outraged to hear this and kicks him out of her office.

Due to the Senate impeachment hearing, "The Bold and the Beautiful" did not air on Thursday January 14, 1999.

Rick escorts C.J. outside where he orders his friend to stay away from Kimberly. C.J. stuns him with his refusal and a suggestion that he concentrate on the woman he's going to marry. He urges Rick to get used to the fact that he's going to marry Amber and thus, can't be with Kimberly. Meanwhile, Amber boasts to Kimberly that she's enjoying her little dinner party and reminds her rival that she and Rick will be married in a couple of weeks. When Rick and C.J. return, Amber continues to make the evening uncomfortable for Kimberly by boasting about how great it's been planning their wedding. Macy takes a peek inside Sally's office and is pleased to see her mother and father hugging for the first time after 25 years. Though Lauren urges her not to get her hopes up about them getting back together for fear of being disappointed, Macy is walking on air as they move to Thorne's office to give her parents some privacy.

Waiting to hear from Macy in the outer office, Myles talks with Darla about what it was like to leave Sally. Macy boasts of wanting to have sally meet someone but she claims not to be in the mood to meet anyone. Macy insists and stuns her mother when Myles walks through the office door. Sally can't believe her eyes and wonders aloud if he is a ghost that has come to haunt her. Myles assures her that he is her long-missing husband and apologizes for how much he has hurt her. Myles then confesses how much he has missed her. As they embrace, Macy leaves but watches with tears in her eyes as she does so. When C.J. invites Kimberly to join him at Amber's surprise dinner party, she states that she doesn't want to go. C.J. talks her into going by reminding her that Rick will be there.

A disappointed Amber asks Rick why he can' t tell her that he loves her. He confides that he hasn't been thinking much about his feelings but assures her that he will be there for her and the baby. She suggests that he simply love his baby's mother and boasts that together they are going to raise their child. He hugs her and thanks her. C.J. stops by Kimberly's place and invites her out for pizza. She claims that she's in no mood to go out but he suggests that she's wasting her time pining over Rick because he's going to marry Amber. She wonders aloud if that marriage will ever happen but he assures her that it will. Amber pages C.J. and when he calls, she invites him and Kimberly to dinner. Darla stops by Macy's house to check on her and flirts with Myles, unaware who he is.

Stephanie confronts Sally about Amber and complains about how she's been filling the girl's head with ideas about her future with Rick. Claiming to have faced the dark side of the Forrester family before, Sally resents the intrusion and vows not to turn her back on Amber. Stephanie guesses that Sally was lying when she told Amber about the undying true love for her first husband she had but Sally insists that she did love Adam and has been unhappy most of her life because he ran out on her. With tears in her eyes, Amber asks Rick to make a decision about whether he is going to be with her and their baby or not. Rick assures her that he is committed to her but adds that he hasn't felt romantic towards her lately.

Amber tells Stephanie about Sally's story concerning Macy's father who left them when their daughter was very young. When Amber admits that she pushed Kimberly into the pool to take care of the scrawny little hypocrite, Stephanie warns her that she is not going to start her marriage off on the right foot by acting like that. An angry Rick interrupts and blasts her for the fight she had with Kimberly. Amber refuses to apologize but does admit that she's confused because he hasn't kissed her or shown her any affection in a long time. She asks if he has given up on her. Thorne stops by Ridge's office with some names of other fragrance companies who may be able to develop a line for Forrester. Ridge reports that Brooke is not giving up on Jabot and has flown to Genoa City to meet personally with Victor Newman.

Myles stuns Macy with the revelation that she has a sixteen year old sister and invites her to meet her and talk with the troubled teen. He explains that she needs someone besides him to confide in because of some trouble started by Rick Forrester. After she agrees, he takes her to his house where he introduces Macy to Kimberly as a friend he met at the Insomnia. Kimberly and Macy become quick friends. Brooke announces to Ridge that she is flying to Genoa City to try to convince victor Newman that Jabot should create a fragrance for Forrester and adds that he must accompany her. After Ridge refuses and warns her to be careful, Brooke leaves for the airport. Amber asks sally about her dress color for the wedding and considers wearing white in spite of her pregnancy.

Brooke asks Ridge about the events of last night. He reveals that he found Taylor in Pierce's bed which led to a big misunderstanding. When Brooke removes her clothes before putting on another design, she starts to flirt with Ridge again. He storms out and tells her he'll talk with her once she stops acting so crazy. Lauren arrives and hears that Brooke just heard from Jack that Jabot is not interested in developing a fragrance for Forrester. Lauren suggests that she go right to the top and approach victor about her idea. Brooke likes the idea but Lauren warns her about the kind of man victor is which only serves to intrigue Brooke further. When Kimberly continues to act coldly towards him, Myles blames Rick for the trouble between them.
