At Brooke's house Lauren is surprised to hear from Brooke that Jack Abbott didn't agree to create a fragrance for Forrester. Boasting that she's got a history with Jack, Lauren offers to have a private meeting with him. she then realizes that Ridge missed Taylor's party because of the meeting and congratulates her on arranging such perfect timing. Brooke denies she did anything but Lauren goes on to explain what happened at the party and how Pierce tried to woo Taylor all night long. They're interrupted by a phone call from Myles who angrily states that he does not want Rick to go near Kimberly ever again. Meeting him outside, Kimberly warns Rick to stay away from the window and adds that her father has ordered her never to see him again.

Pierce lectures Ridge about disappointing his wife and boasts that he knows how to treat a woman. Fed up with his snide remarks, Ridge punches Pierce in the face and rushes upstairs to find Taylor. He can't believe it when he finds Taylor in Pierce's bed as he claimed. Taylor explains that she twisted her ankle badly and had to lie down. Pierce enters and Taylor is shocked to see he's bleeding. She's furious to realize that Ridge hit Pierce. Eric informs Brooke that Myles paid him a visit and blasted him for allowing his daughter to get involved with a boy like Rick. He goes on to reveal that Myles has ordered his daughter never to see Rick again. Rick stops by Stephanie's place to see Amber but is told that she is not there. Stephanie takes the time to suggest to Rick that if he discovers he has feelings for Kimberly, it should prove to him that marrying Amber would be a mistake.

Pierce goes on and on to Taylor about how wonderful she made the evening for him but she fails to be affected by his words of affection. After she thanks Pierce for a wonderful evening, Taylor heads to the bedroom to change but twists her ankle as she does so. Pierce rushes in after hearing her yell out and finds her lying on the floor. He carries her to his bed and then rushes to get an ice pack for her ankle. Sally and Darla update Lauren on the party at Pierce's place and mention how the host seemed to spend all his time eyeing Taylor, especially since Ridge didn't attend the bash. Stephanie finds Ridge at the beach house and points out that the party ended more than an hour ago but Taylor is still at Pierce's house. She then warns him that Pierce gave Taylor a diamond necklace to wear at the party.

As Ridge anxiously waits for Jack to make a decision about the partnership with Forrester and Jabot, Jack asks for a break to make a phone call. While he's out of the room, Ridge complains about how long this meeting is dragging but Brooke urges him to cool his heels. Jack finally returns and announces that he must be going and won't be making a decision for the time being. After he leaves, Ridge is furious that the evening was such a waste. Taylor complains to Pierce about her husband's failure to show. Pierce urges Taylor to forget about her husband and enjoy the party with at least a couple of glasses of champagne. The two head downstairs where James and Stephanie remark on how glowing Taylor is, wearing the diamond necklace Pierce gave her.

As Sally worries to Darla about her daughter, Macy calls and informs her mother that she is at Pierce's house to talk about business. After Sally hangs up, Darla guesses that Macy will be singing at Pierce's party tonight. Pierce shows Macy the lyrics for a song that he wrote and asks for her help so that he can sing it tonight at his party. Macy claims there's not enough time but he surprises her with a big check and a few compliments about her talent. Though she doesn't have much time, Macy agrees to give it a try. Taylor's upset to see a lingerie-clad Brooke talking with Ridge about their honeymoon in Italy. Entering the office, Taylor boasts to Ridge that she and Pierce finished their video and will be celebrating with a party tonight. Ridge agrees to attend but when Megan reveals that Jack Abbott is on his way to meet with her about the new fragrance deal, Brooke insists that Ridge skip the party and stay to sell Jack on the new line.

Myles bursts into Eric's office and lets loose with a tirade, blasting him for involving Kimberly with his troubled son, dragging her through the mud with his family problems. Eric apologizes and claims to have nothing but respect for Kimberly. Myles laughs at the idea as Eric explains that he was hoping that with Kimberly's influence, Rick might see the error of his ways. He denies that Rick is an irresponsible playboy and insists that Kimberly is the only person who can get through to Rick right now. Myles confounds him with the news that he has forbidden his daughter from ever seeing Rick again. Taylor and Pierce go in front of the video cameras again to finish taping the special video. After they finish, Pierce hugs Taylor and announces that he is throwing a "wrap party" tonight to celebrate the future success of the video.

When Amber confronts Kimberly by the pool, she orders her rival to stay away from her man. Kimberly blasts Amber for what she's done but the two eventually start shoving each other until Amber pushes Kimberly into the pool. Upstairs, Rick remembers his night out at the Cafe Russe with Kimberly. He's interrupted by Amber who fails to tell him about the pool side confrontation. She starts to kiss him but he explains that he's not interested. She tries to stay upbeat and talks about how great it will be once they are married and have their own child. After she leaves, Rick returns to his thoughts about Kimberly. when a soaking wet Kimberly returns home, Myles demands some answers from her. Upset, she tries to evade his questioning but finally blurts out the truth about what's been going on in her life.

When Myles questions him about Kimberly's relationship with Rick; C.J. backs off from confirming that the two are no longer dating and quickly takes his leave. As Amber listens from the hallway, Rick apologizes to Kimberly for hurting her and confesses that he thinks she is the most perfect girl he has ever met. She is touched by his words and tells him that she is proud of how he is taking responsibility for his actions and is sorry that they cannot be together. when she runs from the room, Amber hides. Rick chases after her and grabs her, holding her close to him. When he confides that he needs her in his life, Kimberly agrees to be there for him. After she leaves, Amber follows Kimberly and confronts her outside. Kimberly is taken aback and accuses her of treating Rick badly.

Stephanie is stunned when Amber asks her to be her matron of honor and is surprised to hear that Eric and Brooke gave her and Rick permission to tie the knot. Amber excitedly talks about her plans for the big bash, complete with band and four-tiered wedding cake. She explains to Amber that while she is flattered by the offer she must talk with Brooke first. When Brooke admits that Kimberly probably does not know about the upcoming marriage, Eric rushes to see her. Disappointed that it's not her father at the door, Kimberly's surprised to find Eric there. He reveals Rick's plans to get married and tries to explain that his son is so upset by the pain he caused Kimberly that he's decided to marry Amber. Eric pleads with her to tell Rick he shouldn't run off to get married.

Taylor continues to issue complaints to Ridge about his working relationship with Brooke and insists that he stop working with her. When Ridge points out that he can't quit his job, Taylor insists that she will not allow him to be with her and their son if he continues to work with Brooke. Ridge manages to ease her anger and convinces her that their marriage can survive this temporary trouble. Meanwhile, Brooke boasts to Pierce about the success of her press conference fiasco. Pierce is less than thrilled by her news and suggests that her antics in her lingerie in front of a live TV audience is not only bad for her kids but also for anyone watching since it makes light of sex. Defending her actions, Brooke boasts that she is going to make Taylor pay for what she has done to her and Ridge.

Sally is skeptical when Amber takes great pleasure in announcing to her and C.J. that she and Rick are going to be married with Brooke and Eric's permission. When Amber goes on about how happy she and her husband are going to be, Sally hints that she hasn't a clue as to what she'll be up against facing the Forresters. Stephanie is escorted into the office after the press conference, complaining about Brooke's outrageous presentation on live TV in front of the fashion reporters. She's outraged when Ridge plays down how bad the situation was and has to be restrained when a lingerie-clad Brooke saunters in with glowing remarks about her appearance. Stephanie is surprised when Ridge defends Brooke's sexy sensationalism of the new line and asks him what Taylor and his son's reaction will be.

When Taylor reveals to Ridge that she had a confrontation with Brooke, Ridge quietly chastises his wife for causing trouble. Taylor insists that she wanted to make sure Brooke knows how she feels about her new line. When he mentions that the press conference will be on the Fashion TV station, he also warns that it's going to be boring. Furious with Taylor, Brooke makes some phone calls and changes her plans for the press conference. When Thorne arrives at Forrester, Eric and Stephanie plead with him to come back to work for them. He agrees but only if he can continue to work at Spectra part time. All are surprised when they get word that Brooke will be late for the conference. As it gets underway, Eric greets the horde of reporters with the explanation about the new line of bedroom accessories.

After Ridge assures Taylor that he will not allow Brooke to embarrass their marriage during today's press conference, she pays Brooke a visit, interrupting Lauren's chat with her friend. After Lauren leaves, Taylor comments on Brooke's new office bed and accuses her of using her new underwear line to woo Ridge. Brooke claims that she would not do anything to ruin Ridge's marriage but then astounds her rival by boasting that Ridge is still in love with Brooke. Taylor lectures Brooke that she's sending her children a terrible message about sex. Brooke resents the implication but Taylor claims that Rick's troubles with a pregnant Amber should be all the proof she needs that her antics to take Ridge away from her are bad.

When Ridge talks to her about tomorrow's press conference introducing Brooke's new bedroom line, Taylor suggests that Brooke's bedroom project is cheap. He shows her a design to prove that the line is glamorous and tasteful but she insists that this new line is encouraging people to have irresponsible sex. Taylor points out that Brooke's own son is a victim. She then guesses that Brooke came up with this idea to seduce Ridge but assures him that she trusts him. The two start to kiss but are interrupted by Stephanie. After Ridge leaves, she asks Taylor how her marriage is since Brooke's latest antic. When Taylor again states that she trusts her husband, Stephanie warns her not to underestimate Brooke. She escorts Taylor to Brooke's office and stuns her with the overt nature of the bedroom atmosphere there.

Brooke approaches Eric with an update on Rick and reveals what happened during her visit with Kimberly. Both worry when they are unable to reach Rick when Rick and Amber finally arrive, Rick announces that he and Amber are going to get married and if they don't give their permission, they will run away. C.J. stops by Kimberly's place and finds her crying inside. She explains that Brooke asked her to remain friends with Rick in hopes that she could help her son during this troubling time. C.J. reacts with his thought that she seems to bring out the best in Rick; especially as far as this problem is concerned. He's surprised when Kimberly admits that while she'll get over this, she's worried about what's going to happen to Rick when he offers her one of Macy's CD's to cheer her up, Kimberly shows him the stack her father keeps and explains that her father is a big fan of hers.

Macy is relieved to finally have her father and asks him not to leave when he offers to make some tea to warm her up. She then asks where he has been all these years. Myles insists that he didn't want to leave her but states that he had no choice. Though Kimberly tries to send Brooke away, Brooke insists on staying to tell her side of the story about Rick and Amber. Revealing that Amber was the kids nanny before becoming Rick's girlfriend, Brooke states that Rick made a terrible mistake but only because of Amber. She confesses that she doesn't want Rick to marry Amber and doesn't think that it's the only solution. However, she fears that Amber is controlling her son and urges Kimberly not to stop seeing Rick because she is just what he needs in his life right now.

Sally runs to James and Stephanie to explain her concerns for her daughter. Both are stunned when Sally explains that Macy's been imagining her father is back in her life. Guessing that Macy is using the fantasy to hold her life together, James warns Sally not to attempt to destroy that fantasy for fear that she could lose Macy forever. Bridget warns her mother that Rick is telling Kimberly tonight about Amber's pregnancy. When she hears a car outside, she runs to the door and is disappointed to find a smug Amber there, boasting that Rick will soon be home after ending things with Kimberly. Myles pulls Macy from the surf and stops her from fighting him. She finally opens her eyes and is thrilled to see her father is the person who rescued her.

When she and Thorne take a depressed Macy back to her home where she continues to talk about her father, Sally offers to talk with James to set up an appointment for her. Macy ignores her and asks for her to talk about her father. sally again admits that she doesn't know why he left. After they leave, Macy cries to herself that the two most important people in her life have left her. As she stares at the huge waves building outside her beach house, Macy considers ending it all and runs to the water. Meanwhile, Myles waits outside for sally and Thorne to leave. When he enters her place and finds she has run into the surf, he races to the shore. Rick finally blurts out to a stunned Kimberly that Amber is pregnant. When she assumes that someone else fathered the child, Rick is forced to set her straight with the revelation that he and Amber are engaged because she is carrying his baby.

Given a small sample before dinner, Rick tells Kimberly that it is the best lobster he has ever tasted. After they eat, Rick asks Kimberly to dance. when she starts to kiss him, he pulls back and announces that has something to tell her. After Ridge hangs up, Taylor worries to Pierce that Ridge will see them having dinner on the terrace and think the wrong thing. Pierce claims that champagne under a moonlit ski is "his style." When Ridge arrives, a nervous Taylor is taken aback when Ridge claims he is there only to pick up Thomas so that she can work as late as she needs to work. After he leaves, Taylor announces that it is time for her to go home. As she leaves, Pierce realizes that Ridge has won this round. When she arrives at the beach house, Taylor finds Ridge waiting for her with a single red rose.

On the terrace in front of the romantic dinner he's ordered for them, Pierce talks with Taylor about the ethos she has and how it's going to turn their new video into a big seller. She's embarrassed by the flattery but he goes on about how well the two of them work together. Pierce then suggests that they also talk about the wonderful things about sex along with their moral lesson. After calming her down from her argument with Stephanie, Ridge asks Brooke why she's not wearing her clothes again. She boasts that she was testing her bed and suggests that he do it too. When she asks him where Taylor is, Brooke hints that she's spending an awful lot of time with Pierce again and suggests that Pierce might be using the video to seduce Taylor.
