With Hal determined to end their marriage. Carly considers the possibility that Hal might not be the father of her baby. If this is true she realizes the fifty million dollar trust fund could still be hers. Hal runs to Barbara after the confrontation with Carly and seeks comfort. Jessica tries to convince Margo that Tom signed the Power of Attorney papers because she wanted it not because he did. When that fails, she suggests Margo tell the kids before getting a divorce. Lecturing his son to stay away from Emily Tom finally confesses to Adam that he made a big mistake with her. Adam is outraged and hurt. Tom promises him that there will be no divorce and that he and Margo will work things out have Tom.

Due to live coverage of the space shuttle launching, "As the World Turns" did not air on Thursday.

Tom's upset to find Emily talking with Adam and orders her to stay away from his son and his family. He shocks her when he announces he's resigning from WOAK and must cut all ties with her. After Tom boasts that he's not going to sign the Power of Attorney papers so that Margo can get a quickie divorce, Emily grabs the legal document from on top of her printer, gleefully forges Tom's signature and sends them to Jessica. Margo and Hal commiserate over their failed marriages. Hal encourages Margo to give Tom another chance as he once gave her. Margo begins to come around to the idea of giving Tom another chance until she sees the papers Jessica has received supposedly from Tom. When Carly refuses to sign the papers for a divorce, Hal warns her that he'll file for an annulment if she doesn't.

At a romantic dinner for two, Jack sings to Julia and declares his love for her. Julia confesses that she never dreamed anyone would ever say words of love to her, let alone sing to her. At Kims request, Georgia and Margo's sister have lunch together and begin to become friends. Georgia explains that she is in love with Eddie but he has eyes for someone else. Unbeknown to Katie, Georgia doesn't tell Katie it's her. Meanwhile at the bar, Eddie tries to figure out how to find his dream girl. Carly tries desperately to gain Hal's forgiveness. At dinner, Julia has a haunting vision of David. Georgia declares to Kim that she will be Eddie's dream girl. Hal tells Carly he wants a divorce. A shadowy figure moves towards Holden and Lily's baby's room.

Hearing his parents arguing, Adam interrupts and blames his mother for causing the problems in the house these days. When Tom steps up to defend his wife, Adam reminds him how Eddie has changed things around the house. Margo tries to tell him about Emily but Tom stops her and sends the boy out of the room. Jessica is next to interrupt them and Tom is rocked when he realizes that Margo called her to discuss a divorce. He refuses to sign the divorce papers. Using the electronic bug, Hal overhears John's phone conversation and learns about the fifty million dollar trust fund. He also hears John remind Carly how upset Hal would be it he found out that she married him only to get pregnant and have a baby.

While Emily is quietly thrilled by the results of her pregnancy test, Tom is embarrassed and Margo is hurt again. Tom tries to convince Margo that Emily's pregnancy doesn't change a thing as far as their marriage is concerned. Susan takes her daughter aside and suggests that there's still plenty of time for her to make a decision about her pregnancy. Emily refuses to consider not going through with the pregnancy. Tom warns Emily that he's not going to marry her and won't leave Margo. Barbara lays into Carly when she stops by Fashions to buy some sexy new clothes to wear after the baby is born. When she points out that Hal closed her account, Carly asks her to put the clothes on layaway and she'll pay for them after the first of the year.

Molly accuses Brad of being in love with Camille but he denies it. After a quick dip in the pool, the two almost kiss but Brad pulls away and calls it a night. Andy leaks to Margo that Molly schemed with Emily to let her know that Emily was pregnant when, in fact, Emily knows she's not. When Margo admits she can't understand why Emily would do such a thing, Andy tries to get through to her that Emily's been scheming to get her hands on Tom for months now. In spite of her certainty that she is pregnant, Emily can't convince Tom to trust her home pregnancy test results. Susan offers to handle the test herself. While Susan examines the blood, Emily makes a desperate call to Molly and tries to blackmail her into getting some of Carly's blood to use.

An upset Andy finds Tom and reveals that Emily has arranged for Margo to think that she is pregnant with his child. Emily interrupts and accuses Andy of wanting to hurt her. After sending Andy away, Tom listens to Emily explain how Molly accidentally allowed Margo to think that she might be pregnant. She then plays her trump card and shows him the phony home pregnancy test result stick and points out that a blue one means she is pregnant. Tom ignores her claims of innocence and forces her to the hospital for a blood test to find out if she is really pregnant. Meanwhile, Andy finds Margo packing Tom's things and tells her about Emily's scheme. Before she can tell them that she turned down James, Lucinda overhears Holden remind a frightened Lily that he killed David.

Reminding her that David is dead, Holden convinces Lily that the baby she is holding is really their daughter. Susan warns Holden and Julia to watch Lily who may suffer a postpartum reaction. Thanks to Molly, Margo overhears the possibility that Emily might be pregnant. Stunned, Margo kicks everyone out and then listens in amazement as Emily claims not to have wanted her to find out. Margo calls her a liar. She rushes home and starts to pack her bags. An outraged Andy finds out from an embarrassed Molly that Emily schemed to have Margo find out that she's pregnant when, in fact, Emily is not pregnant. Fed up with her tricks, Andy tries to find Emily. While Carly boasts to Lisa that her marriage and the trust fund are back on track, Hal reveals to Barbara that he's tired of Carly's strange actions and is working undercover to find out what secret she is hiding.

Andy's amused when he comes upon Molly practicing a quickie movie review in hopes of returning to the air. Later, Molly runs into Holden and Lily and makes a plea for a chance to return to WOAK. Lily is stunned that she would seek her help but Molly reminds her that she went on the air in a plea to David to release Lily and Julia. After admitting that she's not going to make any decision until she goes back to work, Lily finally gets a chance to hold her baby. Lucinda is perturbed when Barbara, Margo and Julia meet with her to try to convince her that she's making a big mistake in considering a life as James' wife. Emily arrives and is embarrassed to find Margo there.

After a chat with Lucinda about the missing David, Julia cheers up Lily by bringing her photos of Hope. Lily is pleased but then upset when she realizes how much the baby has already grown in such a short time away from her. The two discuss Lucinda's consideration of marrying James and come up with a plan to stop her. Hal questions Rosanna about what really happened in Reno but before she can spill the beans about the trust fund, Carly arrives and pretends to faint. Though Hal feigns concern, he secretly guesses when she'll come to and then presses Rosanna for answers again. When Carly threatens to leave town and never allow her to see her baby once it's born, Rosanna keeps Carly's secret. Still unsure about what Carly is up to, Hal decides to move back in with his estranged wife.

Eddie pulls back from Margo's kiss and stuns her with the revelation that it was Emily who set her up to discover the truth in the WOAK studio. He mentions overhearing Emily admit that she sent the flowers to her to get her to the studio for the news about the affair. Though she pleads with him to help him talk with Margo or do whatever is necessary, Tom forces Emily to leave his house and warns her to stay away from Margo and him. Instead, she waits outside and watches him as he paces, waiting for news about his wife. Margo finally returns home and catches Emily spying. Camille and Brad make love at his place. A troubled and concerned Ben confides in Susan about his "failure" to help Camille. While Camille sleeps, Ben stops by Brad's place looking for her but Brad lies and claims that she's not there.

Emily is upset when Eddie confronts her at her place and blames her for the pain Margo is now feeling. Emily at first denies knowing what he is talking about but then hints that once she has Tom, Margo will be available for him and offers him tips on how to "win" her. Eddie plays along and then lays into her for her scheming. On the rooftop Margo finally lets a sickened Tom know that she's aware of his night with Emily. He insists it was only one night but she reminds him about his nights with Emily in New York and Indiana and suggests he enjoy the rooftop dinner with Emily. She runs to the construction site where she finds Eddie and kisses him. Frustrated that Tom has not come running to her, Emily heads to Tom's house and finds him depressed and alone.

Thanks to Emily switching on the control room intercom, Margo and Eddie overhear Molly mentioning Tom's affair with Emily. Stunned, Margo rushes to the rooftop to confront an unsuspecting Tom. Meanwhile, Eddie confronts Emily and accuses her of deliberately trying to ruin Margo's marriage so that she can be with Tom. Molly realizes what Emily has done and calls her on it. Emily boasts that she's got Tom exactly where she wants him but Molly hints that Tom will blame her for his failed marriage. Eddie hurries to the church construction site where he confides in Brad about his frustration because of Margo. John warns an upset Ben that no matter how many patients he saves, he's still going to feel frustrated that he can't help Camille.
