Cass is startled to find a shirtlessw Sergei in residence at Felicia penthouse. Jordan instructs Lila to give Amanda the bad news about Josie's baby. When she again refuses, Jordan threatens to make Lila's worst nightmares about Jasmine come true if she doesnt comply within 24 hours. Though Cass rails at his friend for allowing the mad Russian to spend the night, Felicia cheerfully assures him Sergei is harmless when he's not behind the wheel of a car. Cameron suggests to Amanda that her new sister-in- law is jumpy around her because Lila still feels like an outsider in the Cory clan. Meanwhile, up in the nursery, Lila clutches Jasmine to her and tearfully wonders how she can bear to destroy the happiness of the Sinclairs and the Cory's.

Matt reminds Lila that she'll have to vastly limit her contact with Cass if she truly wants their marriage to work. As Jordan listens from his hiding place, Josie warns Cameron that Cindy is increasing her black~mail demands. At the courthouse, Vicky furiously confronts Cindy after recalling how the mayor's ex-wife foiled her attempt to escape from Marley's basement. As Amanda tells her brother about her strange experience at the cabin, Lila realizes that the hideous stranger being described sounds a lot like Jordan Stark. Josie panics when Gary considers squeezing Cindy for the truth. An enraged Grant accuses Cindy of conspiring with Marley. Finally blurting out a confession, Cindy begs Grant to believe that everything she did was for him.

A jittery Amanda confides to Cameron that she can't shake the image of that hideous face from the cabin looming over her. At Lumina, Jordan sifts through Josie's confidential medical records. Meanwhile, Gary attempts to convince his unhappy wife that it's just her raging hormones which make her think she needs to quit the force. Cindy and Grant's victory celebration is short-lived when they play the tape and discover that it contains only a collection of cloying children's songs. At the courthouse, Marley declares herself guilty as charged but Vicky pleads with the judge not to hold her sick sister responsible for her actions. During a recess, Vicky slaps Marley and angrily orders her twin to admit that she needs professional help.

Gary tells a jittery Josie she's been talking in her sleep. Grant reminds Cindy that time is running out for her to get her hands on the tape. Meanwhile, Tyrone tries to prepare his client for her arraignment but Marley rejects his advice and declares herself ready to act as her own attorney if necessary. Worried that her daughter has already resigned herself to a lifetime behind bars, Donna urges Marley to heed Tyrone's counsel and plead not guilty. Remy almost lets it slip to Nick that she and Tito have a long history together. "Tim" tells Paulina he's found a job right there in Bay City. Anxious to keep Grant in the dark about her own part in Vicky's incarceration, Cindy attempts to prevent the mayor from visiting his ex.

As they return from the cabin, Cameron assures a rattled Amanda that the "monster" she saw was only a bad dream. Meanwhile, at Lumina, Jordan grouses to Zack about how Cameron keeps interfering with his plans for Amanda. After Felicia gets him fired from the limo company, Sergei appeals to the exasperated romance novelist to help him get back on his feet. Ally informs Amanda she's flying back to Paris to be with her father. Cindy suggests to Grant that Marley may have hidden the tape in plain sight just before she was taken into custody. Sergei explains to Felicia that he's a brilliant composer whose genius is being wasted on mundane tasks as he awaits his big break.

Tito spies on Remy as she comes on strong with a pleasantly surprised Nick. Cass complains to Felicia that the woman of his dreams has jilted him in order to play the loyal and loving wife to Matthew Cory. Meanwhile, at the mansion, Matt angrily accuses Lila of carrying a torch for Cass. After assuring her husband she wants only him, Lila secretly places a frantic call for help to Zack. Irked to find Tito back on the job at the coffee bar, Nick urges Etta Mae to fire her new manager. Zack offers to arrange things for Lila so that Cass will no longer be a distraction. Felicia meets an ardent new admirer in the form of one Sergei Radzinsky.

Tyrone brings Marley back to the police station, where an enraged Jake roars at both the attorney and his quivering client. Meanwhile, Grant and Cindy discuss various strategies for dealing with a loose cannon like Marley. Surprised to spot the mayor and his ex in close conversation, Gary wonders if Cindy could be working a new angle to bring Grant to justice. Leaning over the sleeping Amanda, Jordan entreats her to remember the blissful days they spent together in another place and time. Following a shoving match with Tyrone, Jake warns Joe that if his officers don't keep Marley away from Vicky he'll devise his own way to ensure his wife's safety.

Amanda surprises her daughter with a pair of new cross- country skis but Ally's smile turns sour once more when she learns Cameron is to be included in their trip up to the cabin. Waking from a bad dream, Vicky is frightened to find her sister standing over her. Determined to prevent Amanda from traveling anywhere with Cameron, Jordan again assumes the form of "David Halliday". Tyrone begins an anxious search for his missing client after the police van proves to be empty. Marley asks Vicky if she can ever forgive her for all the horrible things she's done. Cameron attempts to wear down Ally's resistance but she stubbornly rejects his friendly advances.

Due to live coverage of the Senate impeachment trial, "Another World" did not air on Tuesday, January 19.

Lila is caught off guard when Matt suddenly announces that it's high time he became a husband to her in more than name only. Grant warns Marley that if she doesn't cough up the tape he will turn her already wretched existence into a living hell. Jake arrives and furiously accuses both his incarcerated sister-in-law and Bay City's mayor of conspiring to frame Vicky. At the hospital, Vicky tries to reassure her anxious sons that the tough times are finally over for their family. Matt tells Lila he's no longer confused about Sofia because he only wants one woman in his life---the mother of his child. Tyrone makes it clear to Jake that he won t allow anyone to harass or manipulate his client ever again.

Due to the Senate Impeachment hearing, NBC is running this episode of "Another world" again. As Tito hastily concocts a story to cover for his presence in the Carlino house, Paulina chimes in to explain to Joe why she gave his sweater to their visitor. After the boy leaves, Joe informs his wife he saw her with "Tim" on the docks the previous day. Matt learns that Sofia is planning to sell C Squared. Meanwhile, Lila sneaks a peak at Sofia's letter and is dismayed to read that her husband~s old flame may soon be on her way back to Bay City. After spending the night with Chris, Toni finds a pair of high heels in his closet and furiously accuses her lover of cheating on her.

Ally expresses contempt after walking in on an embrace between her mother and Cameron. Nick shows an uneasy Remy the police flyer which matches Tito's description, then wonders aloud if she's been covering for a fellow con artist. Joe tries again to get Paulina to confide in him but she continues to stonewall. Cameron's attempts to make peace with his future stepdaughter are met with disdain and open hostility. Later, Ally meets "David" and is pleased when the wealthy newcomer offers to have his chauffeur drive her to the mall.

Outraged to hear Tyrone advising Marley to let a shrink examine her for signs of post-traumatic stress disorder, Jake warns his sister-in-law he's going to make it his business to see that she spends the rest of her life behind bars. As Ally receives a warm welcome from the rest of her family, Amanda introduces Cameron to her daughter and is surprised to learn that Lila was responsible for bringing the young woman home ahead of schedule. After Lila spills the beans about the elopement, Amanda assures a visibly annoyed Ally that she and Cameron were going to pick her up in Switzerland before they tied the knot. Grant plays dumb when Jake theorizes that the mayor knew about Vicky's predicament but said nothing because Marley was blackmailing him with the tape of his confession.

Paulina explains to "Timothy" why she's not ready yet to reveal to Joe that she has a teenaged son. Cass confides to Felicia how Matt found the love letter Lila wrote. At the Cory mansion, Lila is taken aback by a sudden show of passion from her normally detached husband. Amanda and Cameron decide to fly to Europe and pick up Ally at her boarding school before they exchange wedding vows. Meanwhile, a fuming Jordan orders Zack to prevent Amanda from eloping at all costs. Annoyed to discover that Tito is still hanging around Ray City, Remy informs her former partner in crime that she's through helping him. Zack instructs Lila to carry out Jordan's bidding.

Jordan makes special plans for "David's" upcoming business luncheon with Amanda. Vicky awakens screaming from a nightmare about Marley. Afterwards, Vicky asks an aggravated Jake to visit her sister in jail and make sure Marley is doing okay. Meanwhile, Marley informs Tyrone she's decided to plead guilty to all charges and have a judge sentence her to a prison term without enduring a trial. Certain his client is making a huge mistake, Tyrone suggests pleading not guilty by reason of temporary insanity and urges Marley to let a psychiatrist examine her. Worried that Marley will incriminate her in the kidnapping, Cindy hurries over to the jail and attempts to convince her partner in crime that her best option is the one which will keep the mayor and his ex-wife safe as well.

At the hospital, Vicky's doctor cautions Jake that his wife is in critical condition due to her pneumonia going untreated for so long. Meanwhile, Tyrone insists that Marley be examined by qualified medical personnel before Joe books her for kidnapping. Encountering her mother in the hall outside the ER, Marley throws herself at Donna's feet and sobs as an enraged Etta Mae vents her fury on Vicky's tormentor. Nick finds Tito hiding in Remy's place and accuses the "carpenter" of stalking his girlfriend. Intervening just in time to prevent Nick from calling the cops, Remy privately warns Tito to watch his step from nowon. Marley begs Joe to let her see Vicky but a seething Jake threatens to break his sister-in-law's neck if she ever goes near his wife again.

At Carlino's, a worried Paulina and Nick wait for word on the hostage situation going down across town. Meanwhile, on the roof of the office building, Marley threatens to jump and to take Vicky with her. As Tyrone and Joe try to talk Marley into giving herself up, Vicky is frightened to hear her twin mumbling about eternal rest and how wonderful it will be to see Michael again in the after-life. In a desperate attempt to save his wife, Jake reminds Marley of the very first day they met and begs her to turn around. Back at the Mckinnon house, Donna sadly tells Etta Mae how much she regrets all the mistakes she made with her troubled daughter. After Remy and Nick leave Carlino's, Tito "happens by" and allows Paulina to treat him to a late supper.

Matt furiously confronts Lila after finding the half- finished love letter she wrote to Cass. As the Cory's congratulate a beaming Amanda and Cameron, Zack follows "David" out onto the patio and is astonished to see that he has changed back into Jordan Stark. A sobbing Marley promises her sister she'll get her the best medical care available but only after they'v moved to a safer location. Later, Jake and Joe search the basement of the old Love mansion and uncover proof that Vicky was held captive there until very recently. Jordan explains to Zack how a sudden surge of strong emotion caused him to break the concentration necessary to maintain the facade of "David Halliday".
