Clawing and punching in a desperate attempt to escape, Vicky battles with Marley for the key which will unlock her dungeon cell. Following a vicious struggle, Marley finally subdues her sister and flees to the other side of the barred door. As Marley feigns disbelief, Vicky realizes that the door is barred and wonders who could have taken them hostage. Marley urges Vicky to confront Grant with the tape. Though Jake advises his wife to go straight to Joe instead, Vicky decides to speak with her ex in hopes of protecting Kirkland from any more unnecessary pain. When her "friend" unveils her plan to shoot Grant, Cindy blurts out that she still loves her husband and wants him back. Marley explains to Cindy how wounding Grant will give her the opportunity to play nursemaid and rekindle his love for her. Wiping her eyes, Paulina thanks Jake for his concern but balks at revealing the painful reason for her tears.

    Wednesday, Nov. 18, 1998

A depressed Sofia is touched when Remy gives her a necklace as a gift. Zack confides to Paulina that he wants to convince Sofia that he had nothing to do with Matt marrying Lila. When he talks to her at the restaurant, Sofia dumps a plate of spaghetti on his head. Affected by Lila's new baby, Paulina decides to find the baby she gave up for adoption years ago. She composes an ad and takes it to the Herald to be published. Meanwhile, a man from Remy's past shows up at her doorstep. When she stops by to pick up the payoff check she demanded, Grant pulls a fast one and gives Cindy a bill for services rendered instead. In anger, Cindy grabs the special statue and suddenly finds herself desiring Grant.

    Tuesday, Nov. 17, 1998

In spite of Lila's protests, Cass confronts Matt about his strange behavior after his stay at Lumina and asks him how Stark convinced him to marry Lila. Jake decides to sneak into Lumina to find the elusive Jordan but Margaret catches him and refuses to let him meet her boss. While Marley hides behind the door, Margaret sends him on his way, after Jake has grabbed an engraved pen to check for fingerprints. Marley comes out of hiding and talks with Jordan about the problems in her life. She asks him to make her sister disappear so that she can be with Jake. Claiming that he can't make anyone disappear, Jordan gives Marley the tape which incriminates Grant and boasts that she can send Cindy out of town any time she wants.

    Monday, Nov. 16, 1998

Jake and Vicky confront Marley about why she brought Donna to Lumina. As their words quickly turn into an argument, Donna wheels herself in and stuns them by speaking clearly. When Jake asks her what they did to Donna, Margaret states that Donna was suffering from a conversion disorder which they treated at Lumina. Feigning ignorance about all of Marley's hijinks, Donna insists that she was responsible for everything they blame on Marley. Meanwhile, Jordan watches and hears everything from his hidden room. Jake shakes his head in disgust as Vicky apologizes to Marley for the bad words they've exchanged. After Vicky and Jake leave them alone, Donna remarks to Marley that she only remembers a man's deep voice.

    Friday, Nov. 13, 1998

Cass and Jake pull an all-nighter at the Herald, trying to solve the "ancient" mystery of Jordan Stark by surfing the Net. Vicky bounces into Marley's house and announces that she's taking her mother home right away, now that Steven is no longer contagious. When Marley again makes excuses to keep Donna captive, Vicky accuses her twin of hiding something. Josie realizes she may be facing a new problem when the question of Rh factor incompatibility arises during a prenatal exam. Amanda slips into Cameron's room and crawls into bed with the object of her desire. Their rendezvous has to be postponed again, however, when Gary calls with a hot lead on one of the Sinclair brothers' toughest cases.

    Thursday, Nov. 12, 1998

Cameron brings Amanda to his special place in the woods, where he again declares his love. Jake and Vicky get back to work on starting their own family. Remaining hidden in the shadows, Jordan tells Lila she has him to thank for seeing all her dreams come true. Meanwhile, Cass questions Zak, who once more denies that he has any special connection to Stark or his foundation. Before letting Lila go, Jordan informs her that Lumina may call on her for a favor sometime in the near future.

    Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1998

As an anguished Cass walks out of the chapel, Lila exchanges wedding vows with Matt. Across town, Sofia tearfully admits to Nick that he was right all along about Matt. Following the ceremony, Rachel hesitantly welcomes her new daughter-in-law to the family and Lila promises to prove wrong the Cory's first, unflattering impression of her. Afterwards, Lila confides to Zack she's worried about the high price she may have to pay for seeing all her dreams come true. At Carlino's, Felicia steps in to prevent Cass from drowning his sorrows in a bottle. Certain malevolent forces are at work, Cass insists that he won't rest until he learns the real reason Matt rushed Lila to the altar.

    Tuesday, Nov. 10, 1998

As Lila mulls over Matt's startling proposal, a devastated Sofia accuses Zack of engineering her sudden heartbreak. Meanwhile, Cass explains to Joe why he's so certain Matt's strange behavior is the result of brainwashing he suffered during his early morning visit to Lumina. In a desperate effort to reach the "panic button" which will connect her to Vicky, Donna tumbles out of bed and lies helpless on the floor. Lila assures Matt she never expected him to keep the promise he made under duress when their daughter was missing. Though Zack claims he had no idea that Matt was going to ask Lila to marry him, Sofia continues to blame him for the traumatic turn of events.

    Monday, Nov. 9, 1998

Zack urges a puzzled Sofia not to go anywhere near Jasmine's christening ceremony. Meanwhile, at the Cory mansion, Lila evades Matt's questions about the curious way in which she recovered their infant daughter. Though Lila entreats him not to tempt fate, Matt later tells Cass he's determined to get to the bottom of Lumina's involvement in the kidnapping. As Jake packs up Donna's things, Marley scrambles for a way to keep her mother captive under her own roof. Lila's eloquence finally persuades Cass to agree to become Jasmine's godfather.

    Friday, Nov. 6, 1998

Combing the woods for a clue, Cass vows to make the Lumina people pay for terrorizing Lila. Meanwhile, Lila and Matt bring their baby back from the hospital and discover that Sofia and Felicia have decorated the mansion for a homecoming celebration. A miserable Josie finds herself leaning on Cameron more and more as their mountain of shared secrets grows by leaps and bounds. Paulina becomes flustered when Joe questions her about the locket she's been carrying. Matt promises Sofia she will always be an important part of his life. Josie explains to Cameron why she's finding it so difficult to live with all the lies she's had to tell Gary. Cass prods an irritated Joe to unearth proof that the folks at the Lumina Foundation were behind both Jasmine's mysterious vanishing act and her equally bizarre reappearance.

    Thursday, Nov. 5, 1998

Thrilled to have caused more dissent between the Mcinnons, Marley eavesdrops on Vicky and Jake as they argue about her. With a skeptical Matt in tow, Cass pushes his way into the Lumina Foundation and demands to see Lila. Meanwhile, Lila runs into the woods with Zack and is astonished to spot Jasmine lying in a cradle which teeters at the top of a tall tree. As the cradle appears to plummet to the ground, Zack causes a screaming Lila to fall into a faint. When she comes to, Lila weeps with joy to find Zack placing her infant daughter into her arms. Irked to catch Marley snooping, Etta Mae gives the younger woman a piece of her mind. While news of Jasmine's safe return sends waves of relief through the Cory mansion, Matt rushes to the hospital.

    Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1998

On the drive back from the airport, an agitated Cass explains to Felicia why he's so certain the people at Lumina are up to their eyeballs in the kidnapping of Lila's baby. Meanwhile, Zack persuades Lila to follow the urgent sound of her newborn daughter's cries straight back to the headquarters of the Lumina Foundation. Paulina tells a grateful Matt that the Bay City police officers are working double shifts on their own time to step up the search for baby Jasmine. Felicia casts doubts on Cass' wild theories, suggesting to her friend that he's grasping at straws in a misguided effort to lend Lila his assistance. Marley tells Jake she resented the fact that Vicky forced her hand when it came to punishing him for the rape.

    Tuesday, Nov. 3, 1998

As Gary and Joe brainstorm about a way to locate the missing baby, Sofia organizes volunteers into a citizens' patrol to conduct a city-wide search. Cass awakens with a splitting headache and finds himself ensconced inside Jordan Stark's hotel suite in New York City. At the Cory mansion, both Matt and Rachel encourage a worried Lila not to lose hope that she'll soon have her daughter back safe and sound. Joe commends Sofia for putting her personal agenda aside and pitching in with the search for Jasmine. When Felicia wonders if the police should bring in a psychic, Nick suggests that Remy use her special gift to help out. As a fretful Josie looks on, Cameron alters his brother's medical records and prints out a new lab report which states that Gary is still fertile.

    Monday, Nov. 2, 1998

Cameron and Josie break into the doctor's office to sneak a peek at the results of Gary's latest tests. Jake advises a sputtering Chris to just admit to Toni that the earrings she found in his desk were his. Meanwhile, Toni heads to the "Love and Literature" forum to pose some questions to the Love Lady. Grant makes a televised appeal to the kidnapper and offers a one million dollar reward for information leading to the safe return of baby Jasmine. Grant catches Cindy emptying his wall safe Chris dresses in drag once again to greet "her" fans at the romance forum.
