6 man life raft

I have a six man life raft that is out of date so I pulled the rope and it inflated. The raft is in excellent condition and it needs to be repacked. I will try to have it at the store tommorrow and you can make an offer.[/code]

Bill, if the raft was repacked would it be useable? did anybody take ir at your shop? if not i might be intetested. do you knowwhat it would cost to have it repacked and re certified if it is able to be?

The raft is in perfect condition and it needs to be recertified with a new packet of provisions , water ,first aid, flares etc. It is now inflated at my store so you can inspect it. I was told that a recertification should be done each three years ( dates of flares) and the cost is around 500.00.
This is a six man crew saver and the original cost is 3600.00.

I was curious to see if it was any good and it surprised me because it inflated in about 4 seconds.
the last certification was due in 2004. If they tell you they can't recertify I will refund you.

They have to inflate them at certification to inspect the raft anyway so I see no reason why it can't be done. The phone number for the outfit that does it is on the box and they are in N.J.

I also have a 6 man raft that is out of date, never inflated. Still sealed in its vacum sealed bag. Looking for $ 400.
