Anyone have any advice on patching a kids ski tube.I am referring to the kind you would pull behind a boat. Our tube has a small hole right on the seam.I have tried a couple of different patches/adhesives but nothing seems to last for long.Hate to throw the tube out as its a small leak in only one chamber. Thanks in advance for any help. |

Maybe try a swimming pool patch kit? Good luck. |

Seam leaks are really tough to remedy. Here's some links to try http://www.ehow.com/how_2253032_repair-holes-seams-inflatables.html http://www.thriftyfun.com/tf86244181.tip.html There's plenty more out there... just google how to fix inflatable seams and perhaps specify the material your ski tube is constructed from Cheers! |

If it's a very small leak in the seam, not a hole, you may be able to repair it with fix-a-flat. There is an expensive version of fix-a-flat that is used for inflatable dinghies, but that's more expensive than buying a new tube. Just so you know, all West Marine inflatable tubes are 50% off and then another 20% off at the Rehoboth store. |

Walt, Thanks for the heads up on West Marine inflatables sale.Picked the kids up a new tube there yesterday. The store in New Castle County (across from the airport) also had fishbites on sale for a $1.00 a pack. |
