Most of you never fished a tournament, but I can gaurantee those that have can understand these thoughts:

* Why am I not getting a hit, let alone a hookset opportunity, when I'm using the exact same rig and bait as the guy next to me who's slamming fish?

* Why did I have nothing but one terminal tackle issue after another in one session but not on the other sessions?

*OK, I'm finally getting hits on my mullet rigs...I can't believe bluefish are so smart that they can continually bite the middle out of my mullet, leaving me the tail and head WHEN THE HOOKS WERE IN THE MIDDLEOF THE MULLET!!!!

* Why do we always get skrewd with our final session position when we need a break?

* Why do the local teams always seem to get great stations the last day?

* Why do the fish gods only hate ME?

To overcome this attitude, this negativity, this is what brings me out to beat these demons next time!

Tournament fishing is definitely it's own beast! It is INTENSE and there is never time to relax, or let your guard down. Even the final minutes of the final session, you still have to be alert! But with patience and diligence you can end up proudly displaying one of these.
