Ran up to my old stopping grounds above the Hale Burns House to just above th "Y" at where the Red Clay meets the White.Caught bluegills, bass (large & smallmouth),white perch, catfish and probably a few other species I cant recall. It"s really nice area that hasn"t changed much since I was a kid.Always amazes me how clear the water is.Can see to the bottom @ well over6'. Ran into some younger fellers who where fishing along the Suburban water intakes. They landed some nice bass.As they left and I heard there 4x4 Bronco spinning and I am pretty sure getting stuck in the mud behind The Happy Harrys in Stanton.Reminded me of my younger days doing exactly the same thing.Great to be a kid and find the country in Stanton. |
