I was on the point in CHSP today. As I drove up to come to the bay side there were a few trucks directly on the point. I did see rods but the people were on the south side of their trucks with their rods on the north side. The trucks made a great wind block. They had about 12 or 16 feet of wood pointing straight back so they made the trucks go around the wood. They could not have gone to the Driving on the beach class or they would know that we try to make as little tracks as we can, TREAD LIGHTLY. On my way back I asked if the tide put them in a straight line(as a joke to start a conversation) and I was give the look of death. I then went to the park office, cell phone was dead, and reported them. I do not know what happened but now is the time to stop this in this area before it gets like all the rest. The point was for the fishermen and now the Posers are moving all the way up there. If they do not want to fish why waste the fuel to drive up there. More trafic to cause ruts from them not airing down and dogs running around off leashes. I did the right thing and now i hope the Parks people will help us stop it in the bud. Not only down south Matey but at least we have some air pumps.

Rick...I've noticed the same thing the last couple years. The Point used to be "fishermen" once it opened in Sept.....not anymore.

I can't even bring myself to rant right now....but I will.

Mike
