I’m new to building a wooden model and I have some questions. My boat has some gouges in it and it seems that I’d have to do some serious sanding to get them out. I was wondering if it’s common practice to just use wood filler and not try to sand them all out. Some of the gouges are deep and I would probably end up sanding until Christmas.
