hello . i just found this site and just wondering if anyone could provide any help... this will be my first attempt at building one of these ships ..im about 20 hours into it and i have all the frames connected and the upper and lower decks seated .so im wondering how do you connect the deck to the frames . i tried just glue at first but the curves were just too much so i ended up doing one frame at a time holding it all down with rubber bands and gluing it and letting it dry that way .and how do i bend the strips around the hull without cracking them ..do you steam them or something ? also do you have to varnish it or use polyurethane or can it look nice just natural ? well sorry this is so long but i could really use some advice .thank you |
