Hi all! A Newbe here, and looking forward to gleaning expertise from experienced modellers. I have built many pieces of furniture as a hobby and I actually am part owner of a boat building company but I have never built a wooden model boat. However, I have been carrying around the Billing Bluenose kit since 1968 (which I purchased in Halifax the day after going for a sail in Bluenose II) at the age of 15. I was immediately disappointed when I opened the kit and realized that it was a lot more work than my impatient teenage self could handle at the time. Now, 38 years later , I am up to the task (I hope.) My problem is that most of the instruction booklet is missing (I only have pages 3-6 & 15-17.) Now I'm guessing that the model and the booklet may have changed somewhat since then, but maybe not. Anyway I would be most grateful if someone could help me get a copy of the instructions. I've read a number of the posts on tips on building this model and have found them invaluable. And I am sure I will be back again looking for advice to bail me out of a mess-up. Thanks! |
