Billy will surely be missed by many. I never got to meet him but I have talked with on the phone regarding a seminar that he was going to give. He was willing to share a lot of information and was very generous, especially to someone that he had never met. He was not only an excellent fisherman in general, but a true specialist in shark fishing. My prayers go out to his family and friends. He will be truly misssed from the local fishing community. Bill, as I said in the other post...the best compliment I can give him is to admit I was jealous of him. He was a legend. I wished I had one quarter of the knowledge he took with him. I hope his family knows how many people wanted to be as good as him....Sean

My heartfelt condolences go out to Billy's family. They have lost their loved one and the world has lost one of it's great fishermen. You'll be missed, Billy.

Bill, I also have enjoyed meeting Billy in the past. Once years ago swapping fishing stories, once at the dock and once at the White Marlin weigh in. Always decent to talk to and courteous. As a legend, I will miss hearing of the records he would have been breaking. I am sorry about this loss, for his family, for you as his friend, and for anyone who has ever heard of his exploits on the water. Tight Lines Forever...
