What a wonderful weekend. Even though there were a million people everywhere, I didn't have one bad experience all weekend with those mean Delawarians....  (Just Kiddin') 7/4- Fished from approx. 1pm till about 11pm at IRI(keep in mind I didn't have a watch and really didn't care what time it was ALL WEEKEND! ) caught 1 21-22" flounder but lost when trying to get him over the rocks. And one 2-3lb. blue off the North jetty at dusk. Saw a few blues and flounder caught during the day and only a few blues at night. 7/5-fished from about 4am till noon on North jetty, 1 14" trout, fished S. Side in afternoon and got another 19" flounder. Fished N. Jetty that evening with nothing to show. Did see several flounder taken by boat during the day and a couple small blues on the jetties. 7/6-fished from 9am ish to 2 or 3pm NADA. Did see one boat pic up a nice striper in the 35-40" range by the bridge. Stopped back at N. Jetty around 11ish and fished till 2or 3am with nothing to show. Did see a couple people catching small stripers with sand fleas on the bottom. And one tog caught at NIGHT! Nice size too 18-19"! 7/7- Finally got to check out Henelopen (sp?) pier on my way home. fish up and down the entire pier without a hit.  I did see a few flounder(mostly small) croaker (really small) and blues caught, but action was slow ON the pier, but the ones wading Next to the pier were bringing in flounder left and right once the tide started rolling in! Alot of throwbacks but there were some keepers in the mix. The fishing started to pick up as I was leaving around 3pm. Threw bucktails all weekend with a few plastics mixed in. All fish caught on white bucktails with white twister. Did catch 4 cow nosed rays over the weekend also, what a fun fight. Ended my weekend with a wonderful meal at Striperbites! Thanks Steve!
