Wednesday 7-3
Started the weekend early out of RI in Lewes cast net to get 100 or so peanut bunker around the dock of U of D. Headed out to Brown Shoal snapper blues provided steady action all day caught over 50 on flounder rigs with the fresh live bunker.
Thursday 7-4
Sea Bass'n at B right around 90ft of water a little over 2 doz. caught biggest ones being right around 16" (4-5) rest were all in the 12-13 inch range.
Friday 7-5
Wreck Site #11 for more Sea Bass and Flounder fishing Arrived a little on the late side about 10:00 a.m. around twenty or so boats in the area Miss Cape May and Grizzly to name a few of the
bigger boats. Two 17" Sea bass a few 15" and one legal flounder just 17.5 and few throw back flounderas well fishing all but shut down around 1:00. Also caught 2 Ling Cod around 12" long. Started to blow around 2:30 so headed back in tried around B on the way in but, when 8 and 12 oz. can do the job time to call it quits.
Saturday 7-6
Too much blow tried to go out to Fenwick Shoal but it was way too rough 4 to 6 footers so we stayed inside for flounder and only caught one throw back for over 6 hours of fishing.
Good weekend overall.
