Ever try to find a weekly rental of a boat slip on a Sunday afternoon on a Holiday week? Believe it or not, I got one on my first stop at Shark's Cove Marina on 54 in Fenwick. Mark (the owner) has employed VERY courteous and knowledgeable persons to work there. Trailering every where I go, I've never had to put a boat in a slip before so one of his guys was at the slip waiting for me to pull in and then asked for permission to board to assist in how to run the spring lines, etc... The young lady who filled up ($$$ 85 gallons!) my tank made sure I was tied off at the fuel dock and everything was stable and "leakproof" before engaging the fuel. I'm pretty good at quietly disappearing when service is not what I consider satisfactory but I will definitely use this place again. Had a beautiful run out to the Bass Grounds Thursday morning looking for blues but they didn't cooperate. Seas were nice, water as always 10 miles out was clean and clear. Saw around 30 or 40 sea turtles and had a pod (school) of porpoises or dolphins around the boat for awhile. Close to 100 animals and some within 30 feet of the boat. Pretty cool watching the adults rolling over and tail slapping while the juveniles were free jumping. Anyone ever deal with boatpix.com? They were taking pix of boats on friday evening and I think they took some pix of the toy. Worthwhile pursuing for some photos in action?

DT, Were you out on Friday? I was out and thought I heard your name mentioned on 71. Have you heard of other boats by the same name?

I was out EVERY DAY last week!!! Usually caught the high tides in mid to late afternoons. I haven't heard of anyone else using "Daddy's Toy". Where were you? I was anywhere from Ocean City Inlet up to Fenwick Island. Always monitered 71, sometimes dipped to 68. Friday I was on the water from 2pm ish till around 8:30 pm. I'll chatter sometimes on the radio, jump on in if you ever hear me. That was my vacation, from here on I'll probably be going out of Mispillion on weekends.

Michael, we were off the coast of Ocean City, so we probably did pick you up on the radio. Hate to say it, but my memory is not working re the time. We were out from morning till about 6 or 6:30. I can't even remember if you called someone or if someone called you. Anyway, I will give you a yell next time.
