Fished Friday out at B-Bouy. Got a late start, seemed slow out there in general. I think we hit the slack tide. Did manage one 2-1/4 lb Sea bass, a couple other keepers, several shorts and three robins. Tried squid, fleas and minnows. All seemed to work the same, maybe some more interest in the fleas. No flounder, but one sea bass threw up a 5 inch flounder. I heard they are out there.
Fished Sat for tuna. Chunked up three tuna, went three for three. Had two yellows at 40 and 75 and one bluefin at 150. Great day fishing. Bad day with the flies, they were relentless. No trolling, just the butters. |
