I hope to head out of Lewes Saturday. I would like to get some action within 20 miles or so for 8A. I have a 23' WO Seaswirl and a 200 HP Johnson with a 80 gallon gas tank. |

Welcome to the forum Jayterra,
I can't help you with trolling in the bay but if your wanting to head out into the ocean from Lewes, following the shipping lanes SE should put you into some Bluefish.
With the engine/boat/fuel capacity combination you described the 20 mile one way range sounds very doable.

Welcome to the board. I would suggest reading up on the NJ boards, and get info on the inshore area's outside of Cape May. You might find some good fishing around the Five Fathom Bank, or surrounding areas, and they are much closer than the spots off Delaware. That's assuming you will be leaving from Lewes Delaware. |
