my wife said you asked me to post. I have been busy...busy...busy... Finishing masters degree more then 1/2 way done, working full time and really enjoying work...(who would have thought???) And in the process of raising venture capital for a new business I am starting. Plus adding a patio, adding a fence, just helped finish bro-in-laws basement- and doing a lot of crabbing in some secret spots and getting 100-150 crabs a trip. (except last weekend only 36 jumbo's took the wife and a girl friend of brother and they missed millions) Otherwise not much else going on...(whew) What date do you want me to set for cafe local fishing tourey 4th annual??? | ||

doug, good luck on getting that masters. my wife has done two and now going for her phd. all while raising 2kids and me and working full time. what's the return in crabs on my investment for your new business. barry | ||

Oh Great One! Good talking with your lovely wife last night, sorry to have missed you. It is that time to start planning the 4th Annual Doug2/Cafe Locale Fishing Tournament this September. Daddy's Toy has offered to help you get it organized, I have sent you his email. I imagine more will be willing to help as well. For the new folks on the board, This Tournament has taken place the last 3 years in September and has grow every year. The rules may change but they have been simple. There has been no entrance fees and prizes have been donated by board members and local Tackle shops. You can fish from the beach jetty, ocean, inland bays, rivers and Del bay. The weigh in takes place @ the IR North side marina and the prizes awarded on the spot then the gaiety begins. I missed last year due to a must attend conference in Tampa but we raised a bunch of money for Capt. Billy's Family. Anyway Doug2 has always chaired this event and it looks like he will do it again. If you are interested lets get the ball rolling here and Doug jump in with how you want to proceed. Here are some Pixs from previous years.....       | ||

Jay, you have my support. I just need to take off the right jobs, plese let me know. Thanks, and thank you and Bill for the great time on the bay, I could not have asked for anything better. Jay please let me know what I can do to help ot with the tournament; I will throw some lines out, but I would much rather help in getting things together. Whether it be food, beverages, scales, please let me know!!! Maybe Dick will get a hold of us to line these things up. |
